The Bar Convent Conference Centre in York is a beautiful old historical building. England’s oldest living convent from 1686 and recently having enjoyed extensive refurbishment. A stunning location to enjoy learning how to become a Hypnobirthing Practitioner.

Hypnobirthing Teacher Training in York
The course includes three modules - an online module you complete at home before attending a further two modules over 4 days:
- Online Birthing Foundation
- Hypnotherapy for Hypnobirthing
- KG Hypnobirthing Teacher Training
The course provides you with the skills to teach parents how to use Hypnobirthing for their birth. You will recieve a KG Hypnobirthing Diploma once you have completed the course and the assessment. The course is accredited by the RCM, giving you the confidence in the quality of our teacher training course.

How To Get Here
17 Blossom Street
By Train: A five minute walk from the the station. Turn right out of the station and walk toward the traffic lights. Across the lights on the corner of Blossom Street and Nunnery Lane you will find the Bar Convent.
By Car: The Bar Convent is located just outside the Micklegate Bar on the South West side of the city of York with good motorway links from the M1 and A1. If approaching the city from the south, east or west the A64 and A1036 are the roads to follow.
From the north, use the A19 and A59, then the York Ring Road to avoid the city centre. You will then follow the A1036 into Micklegate Bar. From the A1036 follow the signs for York Race Course, which you will pass on your right hand side, and then follow the signs for the railway station until the city walls/Micklegate Bar are directly in front of you. At the traffic lights the Bar Convent will be on your right. To park turn right at the traffic lights and then left into the nearest car park on Nunnery Lane.
There is a Pay & Display Long Stay car park just opposite the Bar Convent on Nunnery Lane. Please note that the car parking machines only take coins and do not give change. However, this car park now has facilities to Park and Pay by phone on arrival. The number to call is 0870 428 3854. Quote location number 7709 and you will be able to select the number of hours you wish to pay for using your credit/debit card. If this car park is full then alternative parking is available at the railway station.
Tea and coffee are provided in the breaks, and there are plenty of cafes nearby for lunch and the conference centre has a cafe onsite.
