Hypnobirthing Dorset - Teachers' Directory
I am a registered Midwife and Health Visitor. My passion has always been natural birth. I had a homebirth myself and have supported many women and their families to birth at home. I am no longer practising as a Midwife and am currently practicing as a Health Visitor. I am passionate about child birth and supporting birthing in a natural and safe way. I am also a fully qualified Hypnotherapist and am really excited to be able to put all my knowledge and skills together to be able to teach couples/families in hypnobirthing empowering and supporting them to achieve a more natural and safe way to birth and welcome their new baby into the world.

HAVE MISSION, WILL TRAVEL
Firstly, I am a mother of two children. After having my children my interest in birth was ignited so I became a midwife. I was very lucky to be in a position to witness the powerful experience of women who used hypnobirthing techniques for a calm, gentle and positive birth experience. Naturally I progressed to becoming a qualified KG Hypnobirthing teacher, which is a course accredited by the Royal College of Midwifery. I am a member of the Hypnobirthing Association and insured by Holistic Insurance, I do not provide medical advice to my Hypnobirthing clients. I am DBS checked and just as important for you to know as the fact that I hold the necessary paperwork, is the abundance of enthusiasm I have for teaching KG Hypnobirthing, this means much more than a job to me.
I have been trained to be a hypnobirthing teacher by Katharine Graves. I have home educated my son and now he is off on his adventures, I thought it was time for me to have mine! I have been involved with AIMS (Assoc. for the Improvement in Maternity Services) for many years on the committee and as Publications Secretary. I have a good knowledge of the issues surrounding birth and decided to teach hypnobirthing to get closer to the mums. I am continually amazed at the power of hypnobirthing and love passing on the techniques and message to couples.
I'm Estelle an experienced Hypnobirthing practitioner of over 7 years standing and hypnotherapist of some 15 years., qualified and experienced in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Hypnofertility Therapy, Psychotherapy, Counselling, REIKI (master practitioner/teacher), Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Childbirth Education.
My simple aim for those who take my course is that they have the best "birth experience" possible on the day, be it the first time or the 3rd time - each time is special!
