I'm a mother myself and I can easily remember the anticipation of my birth. It was one full of excitement but I was nervous of what to expect too. I found hypnobirthing to try to help me to relax both before my birth and during labour...it worked a treat! I had a 190 minute, drug free labour in which I trusted and believed in myself more than I ever before. I continued using the techniques postnatally too!

I was in awe of the techniques used and my passion for everything birth and baby that I started my journey to become a teacher.

I came to hypnobirthing quite by chance as an anxious mum-to-be and it completely transformed my experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood.  I am now passionate about sharing my experience and knowledge with other mums-to-be and families to empower them to have a similar fantastic, calm and positive experience.

I have taught over 50 couples and my passion for empowering women in pregnancy, birth and motherhood only continues to grow.

I have seen the difference that hypnobirthing makes in my own birthing experiences and of those that I have introduced to hypnobirthing. The techniques that I will teach you will give you the tools to have the positive, empowering, calm and comfortable birth that you want.

Also as a qualified hypnotherapist, I can help you focus on the fact that you are coping with the situation, get rid of the fear, tension, and pain in labour by teaching relaxation, breathing, and visualisation techniques.

My name is Lesley and I live in Haslemere, Surrey with my husband Jeremy and some of my 5 children. The children range in age from 27 down to 17 (4 boys and 1 girl).   The whole period of my childrens' childhoods has flown past and I would not have missed any of it. ( Very fortunately I have not had to).  Their births were varied and apart from a caesarean section for my first son who was breech, then a forceps delivery for my second child as he was slightly stuck, the other 3 children were born very easily and with no other birthing difficulties.  Having watched them grow up (they are all adults now) they are now an absolute delight to me and I enjoy their company as fellow adults as much as I do any of my best friends.

Long before I had my own children I wanted to work in the neonatal world but it wasn't until 2008, when my children were old enough, that I had time to do an Access to Nursing & Health Professions course at Guildford College, and my aim back then was to become a midwife. I heard about Doulas for the first time just after I finished my course in 2010.  After some research I understood that their ethos sat very comfortably with my own belief that childbirth is a natural process which, given the right  tools and emotional suport, most women will come through with beautiful memories of a very primitive and wonderful experience to treasure all their lives. As a recently qualified KG Hypnobirthing teacher I now have the perfect tools to teach pregnant couples how to have the best (and sometimes pain-free) birth possible for them.  The sense of achievement for a woman is extraordinary and this should be available to all women; so it is with this belief that I feel that to be able in this part of a couple's journey into parenthood is an amazing privilege.  I can offer you support in the form of  practical help, emotional support (you may need both in varying amounts) and hypnobirthing techniques that can be also be used as coping skills in other potentially stressful situations throughout life.  I also offer non-judgemental advice during the build-up to the birth and in the immediate post-natal period, as you adjust to your beautiful new addition.

When I gave birth to my little boy Sydney in 2015 it was one of the most empowering moments of my life. I had a short, calm and comfortable birth - all thanks to the KG Hypnobirthing method. I am passionate that all women should be able to achieve a great birth that they can look back on with fondness, which is why I became a teacher myself.

I live in Dartford with my baby and husband, Matt.

Hello, I'm Beth, mum of two, KG Hypnobirthing teacher and mindfulness coach. When I fell pregnant I had the split voice in my head. On the one side I had quiet whispers that birth could be a positive experience, but this was drowned out by loud worries that I wouldn't be able to cope and fears about all the things that could go wrong!

I discovered Hypnobirthing through my sister in-law who had a silent, swift and beautiful homebirth, followed by Champagne on the sofa - really! Needless to say I was thinking 'I want some of that' and so immediately signed up.

Hypnobirthing absolutely transformed my anxiety into self-belief and I experienced two of the most empowering experiences of my life. But after baby arrived I realised I wasn’t emotionally ready and my anxiety kicked in. And this is when I discovered mindfulness, which transformed my thinking, parenting and relationship with myself in a hugely positive way.

I’m absolutely passionate about helping women to believe in themselves for birth, to learn how to listen to their powerful intuition, to be kinder to themselves in motherhood and to experience the benefits of thinking in a more present and positive way.

I support women right up until their babies are born and offer post-natal mindfulness classes to continue the circle of support post-natally. I really care about your experience and believe in the power of women supporting women.

My name is Param. I am a KG Hypnobirthing Practitioner and a hypnobirthing mother of two.

I offer hypnobirthing courses in North East London and Essex, including Stratford, Woodford, Ilford, Chigwell, Loughton and beyond.

It was six months into my pregnancy when a very good friend told me about her positive hypnobirthing experience, and I was so overwhelmed by her story, I just had to find out more.  My husband and I attended KG Hypnobirthing Classes, and for us, everything  made such perfect sense.  The birth of our baby was a truly empowering and spiritual experience.  Since then, we have had another moving hypnobirthing experience with the birth of our second daughter.

Hypnobirthing has been such a positive force in my life.  For me personally, it's not just been about the birth of my babies, it's been about a personal shift in the way I view so many things in life now. I believe that Hypnobirthing has something positive to bring to everyone, which is why I am so passionate about teaching it now.

Prior to qualifying as a KG Hypnobirthing Practitioner, I used to work in the City as a HR Professional.  In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoying cooking and I like to travel as much as possible.  I appreciate Indian classical music and dance, and I actively practice Yoga and Mindfulness.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey through pregnancy and childbirth.

Param x

I passionately believe that every woman deserves to have a calm, confident, positive birth where she feels in control. I believe every father deserves to be well informed, able to act as a powerful advocate, and to feel how truly important he is to the process of the birth of his baby. I founded Good Birth to help mothers, fathers, and birth partners achieve just that.

I have a Diploma in Hypnobirthing, and am a registered KG Hypnobirthing Practitioner, having trained with Katharine Graves and completed the Hypnobirthing Teacher Training Course, which is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.

I am also a birth and post-natal doula, and am currently working towards my Doula UK recognition.

I am a member of The Hypnobirthing Association. I am also a member of the Association for Improvements in Maternity Services (AIMS) and La Leche League (LLL).

Before founding Good Birth I worked as a senior Government press officer, where I advised ministers on sensitive media issues and briefed journalists on breaking stories. I have a masters degree from the University of Cambridge.

Hypnobirthing London

Hypnobirthing produces effective, more stress-free childbirth to the mother and baby through the use of hypnosis methods to create relaxation.  Our teachers are here to teach and support you, so that you can achieve this relaxation during your birthing for you and your baby.

Countrywide Membership

We have teachers throughout Central London and Greater London, which means that wherever you live in the capital, you should be able to find someone who can support you and teach you hypnobirthing techniques for when you give birth.  Each of them has been trained and assessed by us, so you can rest assured that whoever you choose, you will receive the best levels of support possible.

Our Core Principles

Each of our teachers also adheres to our code of practice, embracing ethics and best practice when teaching natural childbirth techniques, to enhance birthing for mothers.  We also ask them to promote hypnobirthing and natural childbirth, if they do not do so already, to help make it a more widespread choice for a mother and to become more widely understood, generally.

We have a lot of detail about Hypnobirthing on our website.
