Before hypnotherapy, my years of scientific learning lead me to a long and rewarding career in the emergency services. I was able to support people who were often at the most stressful & challenging times in their lives and have found that I can continue to help people through change as a Hypnotherapist. Hypnobirthing is one of my greatest pleasures as a therapist. Having a baby is without doubt a pivotal time in our lives, and Hypnobirthing brings invaluable joy and confidence to it.

I love working with parents at such an important and pivotal point in their lives. My unique mix of KG Hypnobirthing and antenatal preparation will provide you with an all-round preparation for birth, whether attending a course for a first baby or subsequent baby. The hypnobirthing techniques will leave you feeling calm, relaxed and empowered for the birth whilst the knowledge gained will provide you with the confidence to make informed choices about your baby’s birth.
I am confident in a woman’s ability to birth her baby, that her body is naturally designed and capable of doing so. I am passionate about supporting couples to have a birth that is gentle, confident and without fear. I provide high quality sessions and ongoing one to one support.
I offer an individually tailored hypnobirthing course for pregnant women and, if they choose, their birth partners. My teaching draws on the highly respected teaching of Katharine Graves and my own depth of specialist knowledge and experience gained from many years treating pregnant women as an acupuncture practitioner and supporting them and their partners as they approach their baby's birth. I trained as a doula with Michel Odent, the renowned obsetrician, and my own experience of mothering has been a rich and joful one.
