Sacha Taylor – Serenity Birthing

Bath, Bristol and Bath BA1 6EN, England

I have been teaching Hypnobirthing since 2012 and have a wealth of experience to share with the couples I teach, helping them feel empowered and confident for the rest of the pregnancy and their baby’s birth and feeling calm and in control throughout their labour too.

I used Hypnobirthing when I birthed my daugher in 2011 and it transformed my pregancy, enabling me to have a wonderful birth experience as a result.  I’m so very passionate about the benefits the Hypnobirthing course provides because I have seen, birth after birth, that it always makes a positive difference, no matter how a baby comes into the world.

I host monthly taster sessions to help couples understand how/why KGHypnobirthing works, so please visit my website or give me a call to find out about the next one or to book onto to one of my courses directly.  I look forward to hearing from you and helping you on your KGHypnobirthing journey!

Having never heard of Hypnobirthing until I discovered it at 30 weeks pregnant, I am still amazed by the experience and the path it has led me to follow.

My husband and I were intrigued about what Hypnobirthing claimed to be able to do for us and as soon as we started attending our local classes, we were instantly impressed.  We learned so much more than the other antenatal classes we attended and we realised there was a very real alternative to the drama, pain and drugs portrayed on television, in films or through the media, along with friends’ stories/experiences and what is generally expected by all women.

The techniques I learned in the classes quickly helped me release all the anxiety and fear that I had been feeling, so the latter part of my pregnancy became a much more relaxed and enjoyable affair!

When the big day came, it couldn’t have gone better.  I was calm and relaxed throughout, didn’t need any pain relief at all and my daughter came out coo-ing instead of screaming, appreciating her calm entry into the world as much as we did!

As a result of my experience, I knew more parents needed to know about Hypnobirthing, so I decided to change careers completely and become a HypnoBirthing Educator in 2012, training with The HypnoBirthing Institute in The Mongan Method. I am so very passionate about Hypnobirthing, having experienced it first hand, understanding how much it can help women during their pregnancy, during labour and even long after the baby is born and watching all the couples I teach transform and go on to have better birth experiences too.

In 2020, I furthered my Hypnobirthing career by training with KGHypnobirthing, the home Hypnobirthing in the UK, so that the couples I teach can have the very best experience from the course and further increase their chances of having a wonderful birth. There is so much to gain from attending a KGHypnobirthing course and I am so happy to be teaching this UK-based programme to local mums and dads so they can experience a calm, relaxed and comfortable birth too.

The KGHypnobirthing courses I offer run over 4 x 3-hour sessions, unless mums are over 36 weeks pregnant, in which case I can tailor a shortened course.

My group courses take place on Sunday evenings generally, from 6.30pm-9.30pm in Bath (or online during COVID-19).

I also offer private 1-1 sessions on request, as well as refresher sessions for couples who have already birthed using Hypnobirthing, please see my website or get in touch for more information.
