Amy Whittingham – Lunar Wellbeing

School Lane , Sandbach, Cheshire CW11 3QL, England

Hi I’m Amy, mum of 2 little ones.

I first began teaching hypnobirthing in 2019 following my son’s empowering birth. I made it my mission to spread the wonders and tools of hypnobirthing far and wide. I love nothing more than meeting and supporting women and birthing partners throughout one of the most life changing experiences. It’s pure magic and an absoulte priveledge to be included in your journey.

I believe every woman deserves to feel safe, heard and supported during pregnancy and motherhood. I also believe that knowledge is power! And with preparation you can absolutely own your birth, no matter what the direction.

I teach Hypnobirthing and Yoga to Pre & Postnatal clients, my sessions are always centred around your needs. I hold the space for you to connect to your body and your baby. While you meet, share and build a support network with like-minded people.

Entering motherhood feeling empowered and supported will give you the best start in your journey.

I believe when a baby is born, so too is a mother.

In my spare time, I love faffing around my house, by that I mean decorating shelves, book cases, moving furniture – I absolutely love all things interiors.

I teach Yoga weekly to pregnant mamas-to-be and postnatal.

Music has a very special place in my heart, I love how a track can instantly change a vibe. Live music is everything.

My mum was Head of Midwifery, she’s now retired, but I’m convinced all of her years of being a midwife, finally rubbed off on me.

I previously worked in corporate marketing and advertising in the city of Manchester, and as much as I loved that part of my life, once I had my children I found everything changed.

My outlook, my passions, my drives. I turned my attention towards Perinatal education and haven’t looked back. I also work for a private company who supports safe midwifery staffing. I love delving into the data and supporting maternity needs on a different level.

It’s important to choose a birth worker, who understand your needs and who you “gel” with. Makes all the difference to your birth preparation journey. So if you’d like to get to know me a bit more. Do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.

“You helped this over-thinking anxious mama deliver her baby on just gas and air and a positive mental attitude and I will forever be grateful for that.” – Laura

I offer private face to face sessions from the comfort of your home. Evenings or weekends. I can also offer small intimate group workshops, I like to run these with partners who are at a similar gestation. So if you’d prefer a group environment to learn, and want to meet other expecting couples, do get in touch.
