I love working with pregnant couples and parents in the postnatal period by teaching yoga and relaxation techniques and helping with parent and baby/ child connection. Pre-birth I can support you in preparing for a calm, confident birth on your own terms through my hypnobirthing and birth preparation/ relaxation classes. Post-birth I can also work with you on your body image and building strength again and can teach you how to massage your little one. As a postpartum doula, I can also come to your home and help out for a couple of hours, listen to you, help with the little one(s) and more. I am trained in breastfeeding, sleep and postnatal depression support.
In yoga, my second passion lies in anxiety and stress management through yoga and other relaxation, breathing and mindfulness techniques. I especially like working with schools (primary and secondary) to support both students and teachers deal with stress, pressure and anxiety.
Additionally, I enjoy working with families and little yoga groups of friends in the comfort of their homes. We will do relaxing and fun yoga together, learning new poses. No previous yoga experience needed.
Thirdly, I love training new wonderful pre- and postnatal yoga teachers! So reach out for me if you are interested in my online trainings that you can start at any point and can finish as quickly or slowly as you like.
Having changed career/ life paths multiple times in my twenties, my passion lies in helping those on a career break (e.g. parents who didn't work for a while) or thinking about changing to a new career (perhaps even in a completely different or unknown field) with this process.
I provide support in finding your next endeavour, preparing a tailor-made CV for your situation, a great cover letter for the job of your dreams, helping you prepare for job interviews and much more!
I further love working with companies and organisations to help create a less stressful work environment. No yoga room needed - Most exercises can be done at your desk/ on a chair :)
Ahh, I would absolutely love to hear from you <3
Don't hesitate to contact me with any and all questions no matter what it's about :)
Have the best day!
All my love,

"I have found lots of positive reviews about Johanna and her workshops and I decided to subscribe for her two hour online workshop on breathing, positions, massage and relaxations for birth.
During the class, Johanna introduced us with lots of information on how the female body and hormones work during all pregnancy and birth, what causes the tension and pain and how to get rid of fear before and during the labor, how different breathing techniques helps to reduce the pain and fear. We had an opportunity to get practical examples and advises based on her personal experience on the best ways to relax during pregnancy, labor and birth itself.
After this workshop I felt very happy and relaxed, with less fear and anxiousness for the labor and birth. This was a great two hour session with lots of information and positive energy. I have positive feelings that after some few more workshops with Johanna and her yoga classes, I will be fear free and completely relaxed.
Together with my husband, we decide to join Johanna’s online hypnobirthing workshop and later also the postpartum workshop, which will introduce us to the breast and bottle feeding, activities for mum and baby, postpartum depression, sleeping arrangements, etc. We are looking forward for these two workshops, after which I think we will be 100 per cent prepared for giving birth to our child. In order to relax during such important period and get rid of the anxiety, I have started with the Johanna’s yoga classes and this also helped me to calm down.
Since this is the first child for me, I have many questions. I am curious about many things, and Johanna is the person who gave all her energy to explain as detailed as possible every possible situation and provided us with the proper and comprehensive answers. After attending her workshop, I feel more self-confident and relaxed.
To all you future mums I can heartily recommend Johanna’s course and her yoga classes which will help you to get as much as possible positive energy and to get rid of labor and birth fears and just to feel prepared for the first date with the most awaited one

I attended the workshop 2hour breath, relaxation, massage & positions for birth class on zoom. In these troubled times, I was looking for any way to prepare for the birth of my baby and found Johanna's Facebook page. Not knowing her or someone having attended her classes, I didn't really know what to expect and I have to say, I was very impressed. The workshop is very structured, with a comprehensive manual that I already put in my maternity case to be sure. The explanations Johanna gave were not only "general" or "superficial" but gave a real insight in what's happening in a woman's body during labour and delivery on a hormonal level too, which I found very useful.
Having quite a difficult personnal experience with delivery up until now - I had to deliver a baby 20 weeks into my first pregnancy 2 years ago, I was kind of under the impression that in any way, a peridural was the way to go. Back then, doctors wouldn't let me feel the pain of labour and delivery, for very good reasons. But with all of the information I got from Johanna's workshop, I now realize that I'm up for a wonderful experience, and even if I'm still afraid of the physical pain that will come with it, for the first time, I feel confident about it. Instead of thinking that I will ask for a peridural as soon as possible, I now understand the importance of the work of the hormones, I see ways to go along with the pain and I actually completely changed my mind about the drugs... I'm not sure I will be able to go all the way without them, being somewhat "not pain resistant at all" but now I really want to go as far as possible into the labour without asking for them. All the relaxing and breathing exercises Johanna taught us in the workshop will certainly help me a great deal.
I already registerd for the next workshop with Johanna and I am attending her prenatal yoga classes too. I would really recommend the workshop to any pregnant woman wanting to understand what's going to happen to her and to prepare for it.

I took several prenatal yoga & fitness classes with Johanna and I also attended together with my partner her hypnobirthing course. On top of that, I'm an avid consumer of everything that Johanna shares, her tips & tricks and articles shared via email, her birthing experiences, etc.
I liked the yoga & fitness classes because they are just the right dose of fitness, not too much and not too little, and at the time when I was taking them, having a pregnant Johanna in front of me was an extra motivation to try and stay in shape and be as active as she was all throughout my pregnancy.
The hypnobirthing course was definitely useful and gave me very interesting insights into the natural birth, made me more confident about the whole process and even turned around a rather skeptical partner about what is possible naturally.
Overall, Johanna is such an energizing and uplifting presence, she is very knowledgeable about everything related to birth and the woman body and very generous in sharing this wisdom with everyone crossing her path.
Thanks Johanna, I'll definitely keep in touch because need your precious advice for my big moment, approaching fast!

“I attended Johanna’s Hypnobirthing Online Workshop (2.5 hours) in the 33rd week of my pregnancy.
Hypnobirthing was recommended to me by a number of friends, mainly to prepare for a positive birth. Also, I am preparing for a home birth, as the atmosphere in my local hospital changed quite a bit after the Corona virus emerged. So I thought that hypnobirthing would help me to better cope with pain during labour and delivery.
In terms of content, the following points were tackled:
• Why hypnobirthing and positive birth matters
• The fear, tension, pain cycle
• Our hormones during birth
• How the uterus works and the purpose of contractions
• Creating a calm environment for birth
• Massage for labor
• Relaxing music/ Relaxation scripts
• Your choices for birth
• Birthing in Belgium
• The role of the birth partner
• Dealing with challenges during labour
• Birth breathing
• Interventions and what they each bring with them.
So for me the workshop was really helpful and also the personal contact with Johanna was very nice.
What I particularly liked Is that Johanna has a very comprehensive view on the topic as she is not only a hypnobirthing teacher, but also a certified yoga instructor and she only recently gave birth herself to her second child – so her personal experience was very insightful! Also the materials, that is, books and videos, she sent before and after were very useful.
The main message I took with me from the workshop is that being relaxed is key for the whole process; so I am trying to take more breaks during my homeoffice day to do some stretching and yoga exercises, going for long walks and taking a bath from time to time. Also I am now following regularly guided meditations to connect with my baby.
I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in getting a deeper understanding on giving birth, and anything related to that.
Thanks a lot, Johanna! ”
