About Me
Having worked in the pregnancy and postnatal industry for the past five years I took the opportunity in 2018 to build my own business, centred around women’s health.
My own pregnancy journey to motherhood was a steep learning curve but one I thrived in, so much so that my interest in pregnancy, birthing and motherhood grew. Over the past 15 years I have been combining the experience of having three children, my own professional expertise and passion for education, into a career centred around women.
I am passionate about educating women about their bodies, capabilities and choices throughout the main stages of their lives – pregnancy and birth being a huge part of the journey a woman goes through.
I teach KGH Hypnobirthing ® classes either 1-2-1 or in a group, as well as refresher courses for those that have experienced this incredible journey before. My work is based in North Somerset and South Bristol.
I will always be happy to chat to you about the classes or any questions you might have about Hypnobirthing, so please feel free to contact me via the link on my FaceBook page (Ali Burlingham: Womens Wellbeing) or email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. Why KG Hypnobirthing?
KGH is one of the leading Hypnobirthing courses in the UK, designed specifically for women and their partners to provide knowledge and information that will guide you through the incredible journey you are on.
The teacher training course is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives therefore the information you receive is all up-to-date and at a very high standard.
Not only will you, your partner and your baby benefit from the course, you will learn skills that you can use before, during and after the birth of your baby.
Testimonials
“I am no longer dreading the birth and looking forward to breathing my baby out using the skills that Ali has taught me. I feel more confident about asking questions during my labour as to why I may have to do certain things.” Laura, first time mum
“I found it relaxing and interesting learning about how birth can be a different experience to what it is portrayed.” Jamie, first time dad
“People may have preconceived ideas about what it involves and may think it is a ‘hippy’ idea, however I would contradict this and let people know that it can give you a really great understanding of what your body can do, how to work with it, and bring you and your partner closer so you have a joint feeling of purpose for labour/birth and beyond.” Roxy, first time mum
