I am a newly qualified KG Hypnbirthing practitioner. Having completed a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, I discovered the powerful impact of Hypnobirthing and just knew it would be something I would love to practise. I then completed by teaching course and have loved expanding my knowledge, supporting couples and bringing my knowledge of Hypnotherapy into the pre-natal world.
Why KG Hypnobirthing?
When researching further study into Hypnobirthing, KG Hypnobirthing was the top result, when I then read their website and both teaching information and parents course information, I knew this course was for me. The ethos of KGHypnobirthing aligns with my personal morals and the approach to teaching and supporting mums to be, parents to me and birthing partners is such a special and empowering approach. I am proud to have undertaken their teaching course and to be following their teaching practise with my own clients.
‘As a man, you feel useless but it’s nice to in armed and feel like you have a role to play. I now know that I am not just there to have my hand squeezed and get her water. I feel confident that I can support my wife through her labour and the birth of our baby, using the positive hypnobirthing techniques we have been taught’
When I first thought about hypnobirthing, I thought it would be some crazy hippie telling me about positive thinking and trying to hypnotise me. But since starting it with my husband, I have felt nothing but confidence in Sarah's training and her calm attitude. I was originally worried about the birth however the course has allowed me to enjoy my pregnancy with the confidence that my birth will be a positive experience. I am a control freak in all aspects of my life but hypnobirthing has given me the reassurance that no matter how baby comes into the world, I will be ready and I will be calm and relaxed. I am hoping for a water birth with dim lighting, candles and audio clips with my husband feeling confident to support me; while also reminding me of our breathing techniques and positive affirmations that Sarah has trained us in. She taught us that its not about hypnosis but how the body and mind will work together for a positive birth experience, and I am so grateful.
I am currently offering 1-1 virtual sessions in line with government guidelines. As restrictions ease, I will be focusing on 1-1 sessions both in person around the Essex/East London area and virtual sessions to anyone with an online connection. Having completed my training virtually and already supported couples virtually, I feel confident you can have the same experince virtually.
