Hypnobirthing Kent - Teachers' Directory
My name is Lisa Snow and I am a qualified midwife, antenatal teacher and hypnobirthing practitioner. I am also a mother of two grown-up children and a nature-lover.
I teach classes in West Kent, including Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.
I recently qualified as a midwife and feel priviledged to have completed the KG Hypnobirthing training in order to share valuable knowledge and techniques with parents-to-be. In my work, I have seen first-hand how parents who choose to hypnobirth are well-prepared, informed and are able to birth in a calm, tranquil atmosphere, whether at home or in hospital.
I love the outdoors and natural surroundings, so much so that my family refer to me as ‘mother earth'. My calm nature helps make those around me feel at ease, even in times of uncertainty.
I have a genuine passion for supporting women and giving them tools to support their transition to becoming a newly-born mother. My dedication to helping women have an empowering, positive experience of birth and motherhood comes through in all my ZenBirth classes. I look forward to meeting you on the course.
I am a hypnotherapist, cognitive behavioural therapist and life coach. My passion is to make life easier and more fun, reduce anxiety and stress and help women live the life they want. Hypnobirthing fits into this perfectly. Using the KGH method I am able to empower pregnant women to make informed choices with confidence and to help them become as relaxed and contented as they can during their pregnancy and labour through teaching general ante-natal information along with great hypnotherapy techniques.
Hello. I am passionate about supporting women to have an empowering birth experience which will go with them into motherhood, and am so grateful that I can do this. My background is as a children's occupational therapist but primarily I am a mother to my delightful little girl. I enjoy time in nature, music, photography and cooking.
I am Gina Potts, founder of ZenBirth, a leading provider of KG Hypnobirthing in Kent and the South East. I am a hypnobirthing mother of two beautiful hypnobabies, and I have been teaching hypnobirthing since April 2011.
I first found out about hypnobirthing from a friend late in my first pregnancy. I read the book, and I knew immediately that hypnobirthing was for me. I passed the book along to my husband and he was also enthusiastic about the hypnobirthing approach. We took semi-private classes and when on to have a beautiful 'zen' birth experience with our son. You can read all about it on my website (www.zenbirth.co.uk).
I am passionate about hypnobirthing and supporting couples to have positive birth experiences. I hold a Diploma in KG Hypnobirthing (accredited by the Royal College of Midwives) and a Certificate in HypnoBirthing (Mongan Method). Additionally, I am an NCT-trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. And I regularly undertake on-going study and continuing professional development. I was a member of the KG Hypnobirthing Steering Group, an active member of the Hypnobirthing Association (UK), and have also been member of the HypnoBirthing Institute (USA).

I’m Sarah, mum to a glorious little boy born at the start of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Thanks to attending a KGHypnobirthing course before lockdown, we were able to have a relaxed and confident birth despite everything going on around us. It felt like a natural next step to become a KGH therapist to help other couples have the best possible birth experience and I look forward to helping you with yours.

Why Choose a Hypnobirth?
Hypnobirthing and the use of hypnosis is becoming increasingly recognised as an effective method for giving birth as it helps the mother have a far more rewarding, relaxed and natural birthing experience than she may ever have thought possible. Not only that, but the baby is far more relaxed too as she has not felt any of her mother's stress or anxiety through the birthing.
We have members across the United Kingdom and beyond, with a number based throughout Kent, including practitioners in Ashford, Canterbury, Chatham, Cranbrook, Herne bay, Kings Hill, Medway, Maidstone, Rochester, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne, Tenterden and Tunbridge Wells. So we hope you will be to find a course reasonably local to where you live. Alternatively, many members can also provide individual classes, if that is your preference.
Our teachers are trained in KG Hypnobirthing and are experienced in teaching expectant mothers how to use these methods as they progress through childbirth. Each has been individually assessed to ensure they meet our high standards of practice, before they receive their accreditation from us.
