About Me

I've been a midwife for the last 15 years, helping hundreds of babies to meet their mums. I've worked in many clinical settings, attending women and their birth partners in every conceivable place they could give birth. Throughout my time as a midwife, I have been filled with a sense of wonder at the whole process of pregnancy, labour and birth. The power of a woman to give birth is mind blowing. The only word to describe it is magic! 

The birth of your baby is one of the greatest events of your life. It is the transition from couple to family, or the growth of your family. It is your experience to own, not for others to control. KG Hypnobirthing enables you to retain that control for yourselves, to work with birth professionals and with each other to make your baby's birth your own. 

I have observed many women (both professionally and also by my wife during the birth of my daughter) use hypnobirthing techniques with great results. Invariably they have described positive birthing experiences, even when the birth unfortunately didn't go to plan. KG Hypnobirthing enables women and their partners to stay calm, focused and in control of their experiences. 

I believe that hypnobirthing is a skill for life, not just for the birth of your baby, and will lead to a great experience for you and your partner.

Courses

I offer one to one courses in the comfort and privacy of your own home at a time that's convenient for you and your birth partner. The course is normally delivered in four two hour sessions but there can be flexibility on this. Please call me for further details.
