I first discovered yoga through a book in my parents home when I was about 10 years old. Oh how easy it was to go straight into lotus pose at that age! My practice since then has by no means been constant, but yoga, breathing and movement have always been a persevering presence and interest in my life. In the past 4/5 years I have been consolidating my knowledge and looked into digging deeper in the undeniably powerful effects and benefits of being able to connect with your breathing, as well as understanding more how your body works and how you can help shape not only your muscles but also you mind and thoughts. That is why I have combined courses that helped educate me from different perspectives, and I would like to help you achieve your personal goals, whether just getting fitter, less stressed, more active or to guide you through your pregnancy or even help you kick a bad habit. All through some guided techniques, exercises and routines that suit your lifestyle and goals.

Hello, I'm Silvana, a mum of two and a KGHypnobirthing teacher, as well as a qualified Hypnotherapist (I have an interest in the connection between mind and body) . My background is in Counselling and Therapeutic Play, and I worked for over 12 years supporting school children and their families in my local community in SW London, so providing emotional support and encouraging people to feel empowered, positive and confident feels really natural to me.

The course I did to become a KGHypnobirthing teacher was fantastic and a revelation into how to apply these skills at another crucial stage of life and development, in the context of labour and birth. Your wellbeing is my priority and I would feel privileged to accompany you for a while on your amazing journey.

I began my training as a doula with Nurturing Birth Doulas in June 2019 following the birth of my daughter in 2018. Her birth came after several years of infertility, IVF and pregnancy loss.

Once I was ready to believe that I finally was going to have a baby, I put everything into finding out all that I could about pregnancy and birth. I undertook Active Birth and Hypnobirthing courses and practiced the techniques. I was determined to not let the birth of my child be defined by the medical intervention that defined her conception. As IVF pregnancies are often categorised as ‘high risk’, this was not straightforward. However, I did end up having an extremely positive birth experience, one that I believe may not have been possible if I hadn’t prepared in the way that I did and hypnobirthing was a key aspect of this.

After the birth, I immediately knew that I was not ready to leave that world behind and wanted to support others going through pregnancy, birth and new parenthood. I decided to train as adoula and immediately knew that I wanted to be able to provide KGHypnobirthing to my clients, this having made such a significant impact on my own birth experience.

I am a registered midwife with over 31 years’ experience in midwifery. I worked for almost 15 years at a North London NHS Trust. I have always been passionate about normality and I was instrumental in setting up the midwife led unit at the North London Trust. Working in partnership with women and their families is key to maternity services and providing good care. I became involved in the Maternity Voice Partnership in my role as a Professional Midwifery Advocate.

Whilst KG Hypnobirthing may not guarantee a natural birth it will empower you and your partner/family to make informed decisions about place of birth, your care and your birth. KG Hypnobirthing course will help prepare you for a positive birth experience and beyond birth. I am pleased to offer 1 to 1 courses and group courses

My passion is holistic therapies and I am also a mindfulness instructor, a reiki therapist, spiritual healer and I am an expert in professional supervision.

I am a KGHypnobirthing teacher and yoga instructor specialising in pregnancy and postnatal care in addition to Restorative Yoga, which focuses on training the body to relax and find calm. I have worked with hundreds of mums during their pregnancy and beyond. I completed the KGH training because I felt it was a natural progression for my experience with pregnant women.

I offer small group and private course options, currently all online until lockdown eases further. One positive aspect of being in lockdown is that you don't need to travel further than your living room!

I cover all London areas, including the following:

I'm a registered midwife with a passion for holistic education for women and their families. As a midwife I understand the importance of educating women and their partners about pregnancy, labour and birth. I enjoy empowering couples to make informed decisions about their care, explaining the risks, benefits and alternatives in order to support them in whatever choices they make. This passion for educating and empowering women inspired me to train as a KGHpnobirthing teacher.

I support women to give birth wherever, whenever and whatever way that might be. I hope to use my skills and knowledge as a registered midwife to promote the KGHypnobirthing philosophy to help women let go of any fear, assumptions and preconceptions of birth and through practice, build their confidence so that they can simply let their body do what it’s designed to do and give birth calmly, confidently and positively.

Sacha has a broad range of experience. Having initially gained a degree in psychology, she then trained as a registered nurse and has over a decade of experience in the NHS, building connections and delivering education to members of the public.

Whilst still passionate about helping people, in recent years Sacha has shifted to a more holistic way of achieving this, through yoga, meditation, life-coaching and hypnobirthing. She is trained in pregnancy yoga, yoga for birth preparation and KG Hypnobirthing, and has a true passion for empowering women to have the birth experience that they want.

Coming from a healthcare background means that it is important to Sacha that she can always back up her teachings with evidence and/or logic, and that she can always find a way of communicating effectively with the person in front of her.

My name is Charlotte and I am a practicing midwife, KGH hypnobirthing teacher and a proud mum of one hypnobirthed baby. I have years of experience as a midwife and have had the pleasure to be at many different types of birth during my career so far. I have seen how hypnobirthing can help women feel prepared and in control during their pregnancy and go into their labour and birth with a positive mind set. I am passionate about pregnancy, birth and parenthood and believe that antenatal preparation is vitally important. I feel privileged to be able to teach women and their birth partner the techniques of KGH hypnobirthing to enable them to have the birth they want. I experienced personally how powerful hypnobirthing can be when I gave birth to my own baby and I want you to feel the same!

I'm Vee, hypnobirthing teacher and mum to an amazing hypno baby girl. I first discovered hypnobirthing when I was four months pregnant. I was very apprehensive about giving birth. Since young age, I have always heard horror birth stories which made me panic with just the thought of pregnancy. I was very determined to find another way to bring my baby into the world, so I started searching the internet and I came across the magic word of 'hypnobirthing'. Hypnobirthing intrigued me and without a second thought I booked a course.

I longed for was a natural waterbirth in a birth-pool. When the time arrived things didn’t go according to plan, my waters broke early but I didn't go into labour. 48 hours later there was still no sign of surges and I was advised that an induction was necessary due to risk of infection. The waterbirth became a distant dream.

While I was waiting for baby to arrive, I managed to practice all the techniques I had learnt to build confidence, get the 'love' hormone flowing and keep myself calm and relaxed. I was talking to my bump, asking baby to arrive naturally, and thankfully she did.

Despite things not going as I hoped, I still had such an empowering wonderful birth experience. My lovely midwife, Rebecca, was supportive of hypnobirthing and all of the skills I had practised out me in the best frame of mind to help baby into the world. I was relaxed, focussed and went on to give birth in two and a half hours, with gas and air for relief during transition phase. I felt completely calm and in control and it was such a powerful and emotionally intense experience. My partner was incredible and I wouldn’t have done it without him. The midwife said it was the most beautiful birth she ever assisted - "You were born to give birth."

The birth of my baby and hypnobirthing inspired me to take on this journey to becoming a hypnobirthing teacher. I now want to share all these fantastic skills, inform and prepare mums-to-be and their birth partners for this magical moment in their lives.

Hypnobirthing London

Hypnobirthing produces effective, more stress-free childbirth to the mother and baby through the use of hypnosis methods to create relaxation.  Our teachers are here to teach and support you, so that you can achieve this relaxation during your birthing for you and your baby.

Countrywide Membership

We have teachers throughout Central London and Greater London, which means that wherever you live in the capital, you should be able to find someone who can support you and teach you hypnobirthing techniques for when you give birth.  Each of them has been trained and assessed by us, so you can rest assured that whoever you choose, you will receive the best levels of support possible.  If you wish to join a course with Katharine Graves she teaches once a month at St Thomas' Hospital.  You can find out more details about her London Hypnobirthing classes here.

Our Core Principles

Each of our teachers also adheres to our code of practice, embracing ethics and best practice when teaching natural childbirth techniques, to enhance birthing for mothers.  We also ask them to promote hypnobirthing and natural childbirth, if they do not do so already, to help make it a more widespread choice for a mother and to become more widely understood, generally.
