I’m AJ, a KGHypnobirthing teacher, midwife, Level 2 personal trainer and all-round supporter of women! I am passionate about women’s choice and health and have been empowered through training as a KGHypnobirthing teacher to provide simple yet effective tools to help women to thrive during pregnancy and beyond. I work full time as a midwife in the NHS at a busy, central London hospital so the scope of my knowledge and experience in pregnancy, birth and beyond gives me incredible insight into what individuals can achieve as their woman-born right.

My name is Shirley and I live in Fernhurst in the border of the three counties West Sussex, Surrey & Hampshire. We have three daughters. Two of these were hypnobirths. My third birth was at home and the most amazing experience I have ever had. I realised the importance of understanding the birth process and how to work with your body will enable you to have a positive birth experience.
Birth and children are my world! I also run world music and movement classes for babies and toddlers called Yo Baby.
I run a local Positive Birth Movement Group, a local Home Birth Support group where we lend pools for a donation, I am a Reiki Master and currently training in Indian Head Massage and as a ABM Breastfeeing Counsellor.
I am so passionate about spreading the Hypnobirth word, giving birth is a life changing experience. By practicing Hypnobirthing you are also learning new skills for life that you continue to use after your baby is born.

I have worked as an NHS occupational therapist for 38 years in medical, surgical and mental health specialities. I have many years of experience in teaching Pilates and fitness and I am also qualified in hypnotherapy which I have used to help people overcome anxiety problems and addictions such as smoking. I also specialise in helping people improve many other aspects of wellbeing, including sleep quality, physical activity and a unique approach to quitting smoking. I have two children - now grown up but I remember when they were born like it was yesterday! As a KGhypnobirthing teacher, I would love to help you learn the skills you need to have a relaxed, safe and inspirational birth experience.

I am Gina Potts, founder of ZenBirth, a leading provider of KG Hypnobirthing in Kent and South East London. I am a hypnobirthing mother of two beautiful hypnobabies, and I have been teaching hypnobirthing since April 2011.
I first found out about hypnobirthing from a friend late in my first pregnancy. I read the book, and I knew immediately that hypnobirthing was for me. I passed the book along to my husband and he was also enthusiastic about the hypnobirthing approach. We took semi-private classes and when on to have a beautiful 'zen' birth experience with our son. You can read all about it on my website (www.zenbirth.co.uk).
I am passionate about hypnobirthing and supporting couples to have positive birth experiences. I hold a Diploma in KG Hypnobirthing (accredited by the Royal College of Midwives) and a Certificate in HypnoBirthing (Mongan Method). Additionally, I am an NCT-trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. And I regularly undertake on-going study and continuing professional development. I am a member of the KG Hypnobirthing Steering Group, an active member of the Hypnobirthing Association (UK), and have also been member of the HypnoBirthing Institute (USA). I am registered and insured by FEDANT (the Federation of Antenatal Teachers).

Kirsty is a fully qualified hypnobirthing practitioner based in SW London. She is a member of the Hypnobirthing Association and the National Childbirth Trust (NCT). She has a diploma in Antenatal Education and teaches antenatal classes for the NCT. Kirsty is committed to do what she can to help people have a better birth experience. She regularly attends meetings with midwives and obstetricians at the local hospitals in order to feedback issues and keep updated with local hospital policies. Kirsty also attends study days and keeps up-to-date with current research and practice.
Kirsty has three children and has experienced birthing with and without hypnobirthing techniques. After a bad first birth experience Kirsty was terrified of giving birth a second time so undertook hypnobirthing classes. The difference between the births was unbelievable. The birth of her daughter (at home) was an empowering and enjoyable experience. Picture a relaxed, glowing mother sitting on her own sofa, nursing her newborn baby and enjoying a very well deserved cup of tea and chocolate biscuit! Contrast this to her first birth experience where she looked grey, was completely exhausted and couldn't move from her hospital bed, she wasn't even allowed to sit-up for 2 hours after the birth. Kirsty was so amazed at the power of hypnobirthing she feels that all women should be given the opportunity to have a positive birth experience. Kirsty has just had her third baby and once again had a brilliant experience as a result of using hypnobirthing techniques.
Hi! I’m Annalisa, founder of Birthappily and mum of two. Hypnobirthing has changed my life and I am on a mission to give you Your Best Birth Experience!
I’ve heard the word “hypnobirthing” for the first time during an antenatal class, when I was pregnant with my first child. I dismissed it pretty quickly, thinking that anything with the word “hypno” in it, wouldn’t be for me. I couldn’t be more wrong. The birth of my son was an escalation of intervention and drama and, despite my research and the antenatal classes that I followed religiously, I didn’t feel prepared or in control. For months, after my birth, I thought that a calm and relaxed birth was something that only happens to a few lucky ones. And I wasn’t one of them.
Fast forward a few years and I’m pregnant with my second baby. A friend introduced me to hypnobirthing and changed my life. I will always cherish the memory of my husband and I, giggling knowing that we were about to meet our baby girl and the relaxed environment around us.
Which birth would you rather have?
Katharine Graves, founder of KGHypnobirthing, teaches once a month in London at St Thomas' Hospital.
Hypnobirthing produces effective, more stress-free childbirth to the mother and baby through the use of hypnosis methods to create relaxation. Our teachers are here to teach and support you, so that you can achieve this relaxation during your birthing for you and your baby.
We have teachers throughout Central London and Greater London, which means that wherever you live in the capital, you should be able to find someone who can support you and teach you hypnobirthing techniques for when you give birth. Each of them has been trained and assessed by us, so you can rest assured that whoever you choose, you will receive the best levels of support possible. If you wish to join a course with Katharine Graves she teaches once a month at St Thomas' Hospital. You can find out more details about her London Hypnobirthing classes here.
Our Core Principles
Each of our teachers also adheres to our code of practice, embracing ethics and best practice when teaching natural childbirth techniques, to enhance birthing for mothers. We also ask them to promote hypnobirthing and natural childbirth, if they do not do so already, to help make it a more widespread choice for a mother and to become more widely understood, generally.
