Hypnobirthing South - Teachers' Directory
I currently work as a midwife at Kingston Hospital having three years midwifery training at St Thomas' Hospital, where I gained invaluable experience and knowledge caring for a huge array of women and families.
Prior to studying midwifery, I completed a Masters in Child Psychology and a BSc in Educational Studies with Early Childhood Studies. I am proud of my knowledge I have gained over the years and I have always admired the power of the human mind.
I have cared for hypnobirthing mums who have experienced analgesic free births and those who have needed emergency caesareans. Each birth is unique, powerful and emotional. I have seen hypnobirthing work and I believe removing fear and negativity can make the experience of pregnancy, labour and birth a magical one.
My name is Lydia. I am a mum of two and a registered KGHypnobirthing practitioner (KGHypnobirthing the UK's leading provider). The KGHypnobirthing teaching diploma is fully accredited by the Royal College of Midwives, which is a testament to the highest standard of training. I am also a registered member of the Hypnobirthing Association.
I have first hand experience of Hypnobirthing and with two contrasting labour experiences, I understand the difference Hypnobirthing makes. My approach to teaching will empower you to have complete confidence in your own understanding and how Hypnobirthing can work for you.
Hi! My name is Kylie. I am a KGHypnobirthing practitioner.
In the past I worked as a home birth doula and pregnancy massage therapist for several years. I am now a registered midwife in a busy London hospital.
Over the years I have witnessed many women sucessfully apply Hypnobirthing to remain in control throughout labour and achieve a calm birth.
I am passionate about learning and sharing strategies and tools that can help you to be empowered through your pregnancy, labour and birth. Strategies and techniques that can support the progression of normal labour and birth.
Hi I'm Rachel, a mum, wife and hypnobirthing teacher living in Walton on Thames.
I used hypnobirthing when I gave birth to my son, George and I can honestly say that birthing my baby was the most extraordinary, wonderful and empowering experience of my life. In the weeks and months following the birth I kept re-living the experience in my mind with such fond and positive memories. However, not all my friends feel the same way about their births – so I decided to train as a hypnobirthing teacher so I can help more women to have positive births.

I am Hollie a fully qualified KGHypnobirthing practitioner
I am also a registered midwife in a very big, busy London hospital after originally training in Devon.
I have worked with woman and children in many different roles. I am very lucky to have the pleasure of supporting new parents throughout their journey as a midwife. I am very passionate about midwifery and empowering, informing women at this momentous time and being the advocate midwives are to be for the birth that is right for each individual and their baby.
I'm Yetunde a qualified KGHypnobirthing teacher and a mother of two. I discovered hypnobirthing in my first pregnancy while researching everything about birth. Having always believed that women are naturally designed to birth without drugs or pain I was thrilled to find proven techniques to facilitate this. Using the breathing techniques, visualisations and affirmations I enjoyed both my births and felt empowered by the process.
Knowing that hypnobirthing really works I wanted to share this with other women and their partners.
I am a KGHypnobirthing trained teacher, accredited with the Royal College of Midwifery. I am also a trained actor and keen yogi. Both these things help me to breathe and not take myself too seriously!
I came to teaching Hypnobirthing because I did it myself and it worked. Simple as that. I had two very different births, but both times, practicing Hypnobirthing made me feel confident and in control. It allowed me and my partner to feel at the centre of the birthing experiences, making choices we understood and felt sure were the right ones for us. Although under very different circumstances both my births were extremely memorable and unforgettable experiences.
Whilst pregnancy is a period of joyful excitement, it can also be filled with fear and apprehension, and I firmly believe there are practical strategies couples can take through Hypnobirthing to allow them to enjoy and celebrate their journey towards birth and parenthood
