I am the mother of two children and I have been a childbirth educator since 1995, having trained with the NCT.

 

I have prepared thousands of couples for labour, birth and early parenting in Twickenham, Battersea and the surrounding areas.

 

On a personal note, I benefitted enormously from hypnobirthing while preparing for the arrival of my second child. The birth was fast and completely natural; it was a joyous experience, to be cherished forever.

 

I hold a Diploma in Antenatal Education, a Diploma in Hypnobirthing and I am a member of the Hypnobirthing Association. I thoroughly enjoy putting Katharine's training into practice.

I am a professionally trained hypnobirthing practitioner and a member of the Association of Hypnobirthing Midwives, and registered on the Nursing and Medical Council (NMC). My extensive experience in my former role as a midwife can also provide the necessary support to couples in their choice of antenatal education. Many of the couples that come to me are recommended by previous clients, which is a great compliment. I am experienced with teaching antenatal and hypnobirthing classes. I can teach you the techniques to be relaxed, calm and in control in order to ensure you have a comfortable birth experience. I facilitate courses in Berkshire and surrounding areas

Hypnobirthing Middlesex

More and more, hypnobirthing is being recognised as an excellent technique for birthing as it helps the mother have a far less stressful, much more relaxed and natural experience than she might have thought possible.

All of our accredited teachers are skilled, professional individuals who have trained in hypnobirthing techniques and are highly experienced in teaching mothers how to use these methods as a part of giving birth.  We train and assess each of our teachers to ensure they meet our high standards of practice, and only then will they receive accreditation from us.

Each teacher espouses our ethics and principles, including promoting good practice in the teaching of hypnobirthing and displaying professionalism at all times.  They are also committed to raising awareness about the benefits of natural birthing techniques, both to mother and baby, in order to increase recognition of it as a viable form of natural childbirth.
