My name is Amy and I love all things to do with antenatal care and babiesI am a qualified nurse who has an ambitious passion for supporting other mums and expectant mothers. I was introduced into the Hypnobirthing world when I had my daughter, and knew straight away that it was something I definitely wanted to be involved in. Throughout what turned out to be a challenging pregnancy with her, I found myself seeking to make the most of every opportunity I had. As it turned out, it was the least traumatic and most euphoric experience I could have wished for! I want to bring this to other women, and share my love for Hypnobirthing! I want to help you have the best experience you can possibly have on the day.
I am on the border of Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire, and also visit Chelmsford, Essex on a regular basis so am able to broaden my horizons when teaching.
Hi there, I'm Charlotte. I'm a mother of three, stepmother of two more, ex-lawyer and completely obsessed with anything birth related. I came across hypnobirthing when expecting my third baby and it's safe to say it totally changed my life.
In my first two pregnancies I was clueless. I read birth books written by celebrities which consisted mostly of what to wear and what to buy and watched One Born Every Minute on repeat. That was it. I went on to have two long, traumatic and (in hindsight) unecessary inductions of labour and came away from each experience feeling desperately sad, overwhelmed and violated.
Fast forward eight years and when expecting my third baby I was determined to do things differently. I attended a hypnobirthing workshop, practiced relaxation, self hypnosis, made numerous birth plans, read every positive birth story I could lay my hands on and went on to have an incredible, positive, magical, gentle c-section on Christmas morning 2017. As cheesy as it sounds wasn't only my daughter that was born that day, it was a whole new me.
I decided shortly after she was born that I had to help other mothers like me. I had to teach women that traumatic, painful, medicalised birth is not a foregone conclusion and that there IS another way, another amazing way. I researched, I planned, I studied (not easy with a tiny baby) I quit my job as a lawyer and after an inspirational course with some wonderful women I gained my diploma in KGHypnobirthing and here I am.
I want to help you. I want to empower you. I want to give you the tools to have the most incredible birth experience. I want to give you, your birth partner and your baby the best start together. I want to help you have the birth you long for, whatever shape or form that may take. It doesn't matter whether you dream of giving birth at home, in a hospital, in a corn field, I want to help you achieve your goal. I want you to look forward to your baby's birth with excitement, not anxiety. I want you to feel confident, in control and calm and once you have your amazing little bundle of gorgeous baby in your arms I want you to know that you owned it, that you made informed choices that were right for you and you took control and you made your birth what you wanted it to be.
So, in a rather large nutshell, that is me and that is how I want to help you. Please do click through to my website for more information or give me a call or text for a chat. I can't wait to hear from you and start you on your way to the birth experience you deserve.
My name is Natalie and I am a mum to two little boys. I am passionate about hypnobirthing and am keen to spread the word of the benefit it provides both mothers and partners in the lead up to and during labour.
The preparation my husband and I did through hypnobirthing enbled us to stay in control during my labours and provided us with the most wonderful birthing experiences despite them not taking the path we had originally hoped and planned for. We would not change them for the world!
I am also a physiotherapist and feel the benefits of hypnobirthing don't only reflect on more positive birth experiences but also on postnatal recovery with evidence showing less incidence of interventions in hypnobirthing mothers.
I would love to support you on your KG Hypnobirthing journey.
