Hypnobirthing Wales - Teachers' Directory
Hello, my name is Catrin, I live in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire. I am a Welsh speaking Mum of two hypnobabies, graduate of Psychology and breastfeeding enthusiast. Tawel Hypnobirthing is my business from which I deliver KG Hypnobirthing courses across several areas within Carmarthenshire, including Llandeilo, Llangadog, Llandovery, Llanarthne and Nantgaredig. What I offer is a complete antenatal preparation programme where my clients are communicated the techniques and resources to be able to approach birth with calm confidence. Whatever your birth aspirations, whatever your fears, we work through these together so that Mothers and Mothers-to-be enjoy their pregnancies and look forward to a positive birth experience. As a Psychology Graduate (BSc) I feel I have the tools and temperament to help individual Mothers and couples to comfortably learn how to relax at the drop of a hat and stay relaxed and calm by understanding the various triggers that can detrimentally affect the human body. I also offer thorough and up to date information on hospital protocols and choices so that my clients can make practical preparations ahead of time.
Hi! My name is Eleanor Gladwyn. I'm a clincial hypnotherapist and proud to be a KGHypnobirthing teacher in the Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent area.
I have witnessed the power of the mind through my experiences with hypnotherapy and believe that Hypnobirthing can enable women and their partners to have a positve birth experience.
My love for Hypnobirthing started almost six years ago when I was pregnant with my first daughter; as there were no classes in my area I bought ‘The Hypnobirthing Book’ and taught myself. Now, having experienced two beautiful natural births I am passionate about helping other women achieve the best possible birthing experience. My drive to help other women is deeply rooted and I feel a responsibility to pass on the knowledge I have gained through KGHypnobirthing to others. I have been told that my enthusiasm for Hypnobirthing is infectious and I love helping future mothers and fathers at such an important and wonderful time for them.
I started Hypnobirth Mamas to offer support, community and positivity to pregnant women and their partners, all things I feel very passionately about.
I am mother to Ella, Indigo and Freya and have used Hypnobirthing with all my pregnancies and births. I was blown away when I attended a Hypnobirthing course during my pregnancy with Ella - I felt permission, for the first time in my life, to have a calm, quiet and natural birth. I still use the breathing techniques and meditations to help me parent calmly when things are not calm.
I have always worked in health services; from a women’s sexual health charity in Guatemala to the Department of Health in London. What I love about teaching Hypnobirthing is that one course changes the story of a birth; whether it’s a couple who feel clearer about where they want to give birth or a mother feeling calm for the first time during her second pregnancy, being part of that change is a real privilege.
During my first pregnancy, I felt this amazing empowerment and connection with my body, my partner and my child. The birth experience was intense and powerful and I found the pain manageable and natural. I am so proud to share my positive birth story with whoever wants to listen (and some who have no choice!). I have KGHypnobirthing to thank for this!
Since becoming a parent and having such an empowering birth, I became a bit obsessed with Hypnobirthing and felt the overwhelming need to share my experience and knowledge to help as many parents as possible! I qualified as a Hypnobirthing teacher in 2018, trained by KGHypnobirthing the original UK Hypnobirthing and the teacher training course is Royal College of Midwives accredited.
I currently live and work in Hertfordshire and work with families across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and also in my home town of Aberystwyth, West Wales.
Hello! I'm Jessica, mum to a beautiful baby boy and a KGHypnobirthing teacher. When I became pregnant, I was particularly anxious about giving birth. Once I heard the magic word 'hypnobirthing' I clung onto the possibility of having a positive birth experience. After researching, I was amazed by the whole concept, and from then on, I put all my energy into learning and practicing the KGH method. Five months later, I had the most incredible experience of my life. My baby came into the world with a wonderful water birth in my local birth centre. Ever since, I have been passionate about educating women about the physiology of pregnancy, labour and birth, and helping them to understand their choices, so that they can achieve the birth that is right for them and their baby.
I am a qualified and practicing midwife with over 15 years experience. I discovered KGHypnobirthing (or more like, it found me!) a few years ago when I was lucky enough to witness a couple birth their baby using this method. The whole experience left me awe struck and completely in love with the method. I quickly became interested in researching and reading about Hypnobirthing and decided I needed to become a Hypnobirthing teacher. The KGHypnobirthing was the obvious choice, with the teachers course being accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.
Hello, I’m Anna, a mum of two inspiring children and a qualified KGHypnobirthing Practitioner.
I am passionate about helping other mums to have a positive birthing experience. Negative thoughts, worries and ‘what if’s’ may seem like natural concern, but its entirely possible to look forward to your babies birth. To be confident in your bodies ability to birth.
You have the right to think positively about your birth and not be exposed to scare stories through media, friends and family. KG Hypnobirthing shows us that there is another way.
I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life as a KGHypnobirthing practitioner. I have had a long career in the nature conservation sector, I love to teach and inspire others and I enjoy meeting new people. I am passionate about hypnobirthing, I truly believe that it works and I’m so excited to be starting a journey with other mums to help them achieve the positive birth that they deserve.
I'm a Registered Midwife and have worked in all areas of maternity. I am passionate about supporting women's choices and helping them to achieve the birth that's right for them.
I'm a mother of two adult boys and slave to a naughty dog and a haughty cat.
I love teaching and feel enormous gratitude that I am able to witness the transformation that women and their families go through as they journey through pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Originally trained as a counsellor, I worked with young people with addiction and later qualified as a secondary school teacher. During this time I also learned to meditate and soon began to pass on this skill to others; I have now been teaching meditation for almost thirty years. Having used a form of hypnobirthing for my second and third births, and to support my own daughter in the birth of her baby, I wanted to combine this knowledge with my knowledge of relaxation and mindfulness techniques to support pregnant women further. I completed the KGHypnobirthing course to enable me to offer this specialist technique with the antenatal element which I believe so strongly is crucial to empowering women in taking control of their births.
