Hypnobirthing Yorkshire W - Teachers' Directory
My name is Annie Walker and I'm the mum of two beautiful children and a KG Hypnobirthing teacher. I used hypnobirthing techniques for both of my births as I couldn't understand why people were so keen to share negative stories when our bodies are designed to give birth naturally! I want to be able to share the experience I had with other parents to be so that they feel empowered, informed and in control and they can actually enjoy the wonderful experience of birth. I am also a qualified professional hypnotherapist registered with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.

Hello I’m Rosy, mother and qualified KGHypnobirth practitioner.
In creating A Rosy Hypnobirth, my aim is to help, support, and equip you with the tools to have the best birth for you, however that birth looks.
I had an incredibly empowering hypnobirth and found the techniques so beneficial throughout my pregnancy. I knew I wanted to help more people have that empowering experience.
I would love to help you with your birth journey
Hi, I’m Lauren, mum of two boys and a lover of tea! I live in Kirklees, West Yorkshire, with my husband and two sons.
My hypnobirthing journey began when I became pregnant with my second son. My first birth experience had been less than positive and had left me with a lot of anxiety about going through it again the second time round. I had heard lots of positive stories about hypnobirthing, so I decided to give it a try. The information I learned on the hypnobirthing course about the science of birth just made so much sense to me, and gave me a greater understanding of my first birth experience. And the breathing and relaxation techniques were so simple and easy to do, that I thought ‘this is great! I can’t believe more women don’t know about this– it makes so much sense once you know it’.
My second birth was such a positive experience – a world of difference from my first one. Because of the hypnobirthing techniques I had learned, I was able to remain so calm and stay present in the moment without panic or fear.
I couldn’t believe the difference between the two birth experiences, and decided that I was going to train to teach hypnobirthing as I feel so passionately about its benefits.
I think no woman should begin her birthing journey in fear, and want to help as many women as possible to create the calm, positive and empowering birth experience that I now know is possible.
Outside of hypnobirthing I have spent the majority of my career working for a charity supporting people that have experienced crime, and I am a qualified Person Centred Therapeutic Counsellor.
I offer group and private hypnobirthing classes in West Yorkshire.
I look forward to hearing from you, Lauren x
I’m Katie, a nurse of nine years and mum of two living in Leeds.
As a health care professional I believe in evidence-based care. Once I started to research aspects of birth during my own pregnancy, I couldn’t believe how empowered it made me feel in my decisions and in my body. I'd love to help others achieve the same confidence.
I came to hypnobirthing firstly through my midwifery training. I witnessed some truly amazing births of women who were using hypnobirthing which were so calm and relaxed. I agreed with the science and logic behind why it works so when it came to giving birth to my son I knew I had to learn hypnobirthing for myself.
Now being a mother I understand the life changing moment of birth. My birth didn’t necessarily go to ‘plan’ but by using hypnobirthing techniques I had a quick and calm delivery in which I felt able to cope and let my body do what it needed to do every step of the way.
As a qualified practicing midwife I am very passionate about empowering women and couples to have the best birth experience for them. I truly believe in supporting women to make informed choices about their birth as the birth of their child will stay with them forever. I offer a holistic and flexible approach which can be tailored to the individual needs of each couple and I can provide information and support on the best possible way to achieve a normal birth.
I’m Jasmin Brearton, the founder of The Mum Friend.
I have a degree in Psychology and I’m a qualified KGH Hypnobirthing teacher (The only Hypnobirthing course to be accredited by the Royal College of Midwives).
I’m also a member of The Hypnobirthing Association.
As a mother who has experienced the power of Hypnobirthing with the birth of my son, I have a passion to teach other women to have their own positive birth experience.
