Venue: Manchester - Mount St

In the heart of Manchester city sits this beautiful venue.  Heaped in history the present building was built in 1828 in a neo-classical style by architect Richard Lane.  The space and atmosphere lends itself very well to learning the skills to become a Hypnobirthing practitioner.

The Friends Meeting House is behind the Manchester Central Library and close to the Town Hall and Albert Square. There are bus, tram and rail stops close by. The No1 Bus goes from Manchester Piccadilly to the Central Library.

By Tram: 

The nearest stop is St. Peter Square a three minutes walk away from the centre.     

By Train: 

The centre is within walking distance of the following Manchester stations:

  • Manchester Piccadilly - walking distance approximately 20 minutes
  • Manchester Oxford Road - walking distance approximately 10 minutes 
  • Manchester Victoria - walking distance approximately 15 minutes
  • Deansgate - walking distance approximately 10 minutes
  • Salford Central - walking distance approximately 15 minutes

By Bus:

By Car: 

There are two car parks that are within a 5 minutes walk.  These are Great Northern (postcode - M3 4EE) and Manchester Central (postcode - M2 3GX)


There is no car park at the venue but there are several car parks within walking distance. The nearest parking is Great Northern (4 mins walk – M3 4EE) and Manchester Central (3 mins walk – M2 3GX)
