Birthing Foundation Online Module Overview
This module includes instruction in:
- The physiology of birth
- The birth process for mother and baby
- Preparation for birth
- Normality and the less usual
- Time and place of birth
- How to answer the questions you may be asked
There is also an introduction to rebozo, the technique that originated in Mexico and can increase comfort in labour, and encourage a breech or back-to-back baby to change position.
This is an extremely popular module, and even experienced midwives have told us that it throws new light on their work.
Completion Confirmation
At the end of the course there are a few questions for you to consider your knowledge. Once read through, you must confirm that you have completed the course by clicking on the confirmation button and following the instructions on the website. We will then recieve an automatic notification that you have completed the course.

This module will introduce you to the gentle and profound experience of hypnosis and how to induce hypnosis in others.
