KGHypnobirthing Training Course

KGHypnobirthing offers an in-depth training course to become a hypnobirthing teacher, with an online Hypnotherapy for Hypnobirthing module and an online Birthing Foundation module.  Both the online Hypnotherapy for Hypnobirthing and the Birthing Foundation modules need to be completed before taking the face-to-face Hypnobirthing Teacher Training module.  During a virtual course the face-to-face Teacher Training module is delivered via Zoom.  

The course is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives as proof of the standard of training we offer.  Upon qualification you will be included in the KGHypnobirthing teachers’ directory which appears high on the search engines and is where mothers look who are searching for a hypnobirthing class.

Being a KGHypnobirthing teacher is supremely satisfying.  To be invited into a woman’s life at this special time of pregnancy, knowing that you are going to make it even better, is a huge privilege.  We regard it as our responsibility to tell her everything we know to help her have the best possible birth.  If we don’t, it’s possible that no-one else will.

Who Should Become a Registered KGHypnobirthing Teacher?

A special feature of our course is that we not only teach the full in-depth KGHypnobirthing course, but we also train you to teach couples in how to apply it and give them the knowledge to understand what the alternatives are and the implication of suggested interventions, so they can made the best choices for them and for their babies.

Assessment

At the end of the course there is an open book assessment for you to do in your own time. The purpose is to enable you to go over the material which is included in the course and The Hypnobirthing Book so that you feel confident you have it ‘at your finger tips’ ready to teach your first course. This is not an academic dissertation, but rather a practical demonstration of knowledge and understanding.

The KG Hypnobirthing Teacher Training Diploma

On completion of the assessment you receive your KGHypnobirthing Teacher Training Diploma and are entitled to use the letters DipHB(KGH) after your name as designation of the quality of your knowledge and training.

Teaching and Business Support

We provide a unique level of back-up from our office, and teachers have remarked on the quality of the help they receive. Our aim is to support you in being the very best hypnobirthing teachers who enjoy being part of our friendly and supportive group.

We have public and private Facebook groups which are used extensively:

• KGH Teachers is a private Facebook group where current teachers can discuss matters relating to their hypnobirthing teaching and learn from the experience of other teachers.
• Hypnobirthing Group is a public Facebook group to encourage general discussion around hypnobirthing and birth - any questions relating to pregnancy which pregnant women and their partners may ask. We invite all of the couples we teach to this group so they become part of our ever growing family and disseminate the knowledge of hypnobirthing to people who have not yet heard about it.
• Hypnobirthing Courses is a public Facebook group which is available for KGH teachers to promote their courses.

We understand that support on the start-up of your business and on-going growth is essential to your success.  We have a dedicated Facebook group to support you in this area. You can ask questions and share your challenges, as well as your successes. It is similar to our KGH Teachers Facebook group, where we encourage peer support to give us all food for thought and the ability to learn from each other. Within this group we share marketing ideas and tips, and we are developing a library of resources both for teaching and running your business. This area of our support is ongoing and evolves with the needs of our teachers.

Hypnobirthing is wonderful, and it is developing fast. We are widely acknowledged as the leader in this field, and we know that we need to develop so that we become even better. It is a rewarding and satisfying journey for all of us.
