Alama Sylla – Alama Care

89 Bickersteth Rd, Tooting, London SW17 9SH, England

Are you looking for powerful and sustainable tools that you, your birth partner, and your baby can use throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond?

With KGHypnobirthing, you will deepen your understanding of the physiology and mechanics of pregnancy and birth. Through regular practice, you and your birth partner will develop techniques to support relaxation, using visualisation, gentle touch, and breathing techniques. These will become second nature, helping you feel calm, confident, and in control during labour and birth.

My goal is to empower both you and your birth partner—helping you feel informed, reassured, and confident in your choices. You will learn how to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, ensuring your voice is heard. Your birth partner will discover their role in providing security, comfort, and active support, making their presence invaluable throughout labour and birth.

Location

My name is Alama Sylla, and I am a midwife within the NHS in South West London. Originally from France, I am passionate about supporting parents from diverse backgrounds and helping them feel confident and informed throughout their pregnancy and birth journey.

I am fascinated by the power of the mind and how hypnosis techniques can transform our perception of birth. I love sharing the latest evidence-based information with parents and encouraging them to take an active role in decision-making.

In addition to KGHypnobirthing, I have expanded my knowledge through:

✔️ Spinning Babies Workshop – Optimising fetal positioning

✔️ Physiological Breech Birth Study Day – Supporting natural breech birth

✔️ Aromatherapy Study Day – Using essential oils in pregnancy and labour

I am also passionate about global midwifery and have led a self-funded voluntary project, Midwives Around the World (2023-2024) in South-East Asia. During my time in Thailand, I trained in Traditional Thai Massage for pregnant women and babies.

Currently, I am studying at The Art and Science of Breastfeeding London, preparing to sit for the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) exam. My goal is to support parents beyond birth, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to navigate their breastfeeding journey.

KGHypnobirthing is a 12-hour course, delivered over six sessions (2 hours each), designed for you, your birth partner, and your baby. The aim is to provide you with the knowledge and tools to experience a calm, comfortable, consented, confident, in control, making choice and positive birth.
