Melanie Vandesande – Birth and Beyond with Melanie

Hello! I’m Melanie, I live in Huddersfield with my lovely other half James, 9 year old daughter Edie & my 6 year old son Arlo. 

My passions are all things maternity, birth and beyond!  

For the last 4 years I’ve had a successful cleaning business with my best friend Sarah. Previous to this I worked at Mothercare Huddersfield where I ran the maternity department which is where I discovered my passion. I loved supporting pregnant women throughout their journey. 

After some big life changes during the pandemic I decided to take the plunge and retrain. So booked onto a KGHypnobirthing course & never looked back! I met some incredible women on the course & have since had the privilege of supporting some amazing people to achieve the births they wanted. 

I’m hoping to expand my birth work and train as a birth and post natal doula too. 

I really hope to make my social media a community for all things birth related. I have some amazing friends with incredible small businesses that I know you will love too!
