Anna Manuzzi –

3 Piazza Riforma, Lugano, Switzerland 6900, Europe

Hello!

My name is Anna and I am originally from Virginia, USA but have spent the past decade between Italy and Switzerland. I first found KGHypnobirthing when I was pregnant with my first child through Deliciously Ella. I learned a lot from the content and my pregnancy was straightforward and easy in a birthing center. It wasn’t until I faced some less than ideal circumstances in my second pregnancy that I decided to take a formal hypnobirthing course with an instructor. Although it was my second time around and my first birth seemed calm, I was blown away by the tools that KGH gave me – by understanding my body, by giving me the tools, and by giving me the knowledge about the system in which we give birth. It sparked a passion in me to teach this method to any pregnant couple looking for an empowering birth experience.

Along with being a certified KGHypnobirthing instructor, I am also 500 hours certified in hatha yoga, teaching advanced courses on Yoga Nidra, and I am a certified transformational coach working with the subconscious mind.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Location
Our baby boy is three months now (how can that be!) his name is Remi. He was born at home after nearly 18 hours of intense labor. We had such a supportive team, my midwife, her assistant, a wonderful doula and my sister and husband by my side. I had back labor the entire time, and labor came on quick and strong with contractions close together, and then rolling into each other. Because of how my labor went, I found it so hard to ground and catch my breath because there wasn’t really an “in between” for me. I kept trying to labor “the right way”, or the way I thought i would or should. When I finally let that go and went into an instinctual, deep inner place, progress was made and eventually our boy made his way out.
I found the affirmations and practice of hypnobirthing in the preparation phase for labor helped keep my heart calm when I felt fearful or uncertain during. They also were very grounding to me as I prepared for my home birth – I really felt so confident and at peace with my decision to birth at home. It felt like the safest place for me and my baby, and I was able to relax into that with confidence.
Thank you for this course, I’m so grateful to have had the chance to learn from you. I would never have known it was your first time teaching. You did a wonderful job.
My review — Anna is a thoughtful teacher and embodies warmth and calm. She took time to listen to any concerns we had, answer questions and provide guidance from an evidence-based approach. Hypnobirthing was crucial in grounding us in preparation for our home birth, and helped keep our hearts steady and calm throughout the labor and birth of our son.
