Hypnobirthing Denmark - Teachers' Directory
My name is Anna Guldagger, I have to children, and I have had two very different birth experiences. One left me traumatised with permanent physical pain. After that I did not think I would ever birth again but we really wanted a second child. Second time around I gave birth after complications during the third trimester, and an introduction to something called hypnobirthing. That birth was the single most amazing experience of my life! I would do it again tomorrow, if we wanted more kids.
Instead, it is now my goal to help other pregnant people experience the euphoria and loveliness of birth, the time leading up to labour and after. I have qualified as DipHb(KHG) with KGHypnobirthing, accredited by the Royal College og Midwifes in the UK. I look forward to helping you achieve a positive birth.
In the UK hypnobirthing has spread and today there are lots of midwifes as well as some obstetricians that use the principles in their work. I have even seen them used in a guide to caesareans from Whittington Hospital Trust in London. I felt this myself when I arrived to the birth suite last time. I told the midwife that we practised hypnobirthing and her response was, ''how lovely, we are going to have a really good time''. And so, we did!
