I began my journey when I birthed my own daughters and took the next step when I trained as a breastfeeding peer supporter with Realbabymilk UK. It was through this support role, reflecting on my own labour / birth and breastfeeding experiences that my passion for all things birth was born... Listening to women and hearing their stories inspired me to learn more about the natural physiology of pregnancy and birth, to really explore the importance of postnatal support. Over time this process taught me how much value there is in uncompromised / dedicated antenatal, birth and postnatal support for women and their families... I feel deeply privileged to be in a position to support positive birth experience! Several years later I began looking into how I might support women and their families away from volunteering in the role of doula! I trained in 2013/2014 with Nurture your Birth UK and became an accredited birth worker. Since then I have undertaken extensive training in many different topics ranging through pregnancy and becoming a hypnobirthing teacher, birth and postnatal support. I specialise in supporting families through the transition into parenthood. I have especially loved adding the skill of hypnobirthing teacher to my pregnancy and birth tool kit...

Congratulations on your pregnancy! My journey to becoming a hypnobirthing teacher began in 2012 when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was completely in awe of the changes happening to my body and I devoured every bit of information I could about pregnancy, labour and birth - from then on I was hooked. Now, as a mother of two I am passionate about helping women and couples to achieve the birth they deserve and to spread the word about how empowering, positive and joyful birth can really be. I offer group and private courses in Woodstock, Oxfordshire and in Southern Spain. Please do get in touch with me via the email above or find me on social media @aboutmybirth if you’d like to know more.

Nazaret.

My amazing first-hand experience using hypnobirthing to birth my daughter was so life changing that I felt it was my calling to spread the hypnobirthing love!

I am in awe of our amazing bodies and what they are capable of doing. Birth is such an incredible event for all those involved and I am so honored when I am invited to be part of the journey! Contributing to create a positive birthing experience for mums and their birth partners is a real privilege.

I'm originally from Surrey in the UK, I moved when 4 months pregnant with my first child to Madrid in September 2015. I first heard of Hypnobirthing six years ago when a close friend decided to use it for the homebirth of her first baby. Fast foward to the birth of my son in Madrid: having read a lot around the topic beforehand and watched many if not all videos on youtube, I found a midwife to take us through the course and a birth centre that appreciated natural birth. In October 2017 when 6 months pregnant I decided to train and qualify as a Katharine Graves Hypnobirthing teacher in London. I gave birth to our second hypnobirthing baby at home in January 2018 which was another amazing and unforgettable experience, drug and intervention free.

Hello my name is Susan,

I am a mother of two daughters and have spent many years at the university of life.

I have always chosen an holistic approach and used complementary therapies and treatments. In 1995 I became an I.T E.C. tutor, therapist, of Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology.

I discovered hypnobirthing when my youngest daughter was pregnant with my grandaughter. I have three grandchildren and have been present at all of their joyous births. Each pregnancy and birth have all been completly different resulting with wonderfully , calm and peaceful babies.

I trained in KG Hypnobirthing with Katharine in 2013. The course was extremely thorough, covering hypnotherapy, the physiology of pregnancy and birth, hypnobirthing techniques and is accredited by the royal college of midwives (RCM). If only Hypnobirthing had been available when I had my daughters. The knowledge I gained during the week spent with Katharine and her team was an empowering  wonderful experience.

I am passionate and delighted to be able to offer the many benefits that hypnobirthing facilitates towards a calm, positive and gentle birth experience for the whole family.
