Hypnobirthing Hertfordshire - Teachers' Directory
I am a Mother to a wonderful little girl born Oct 18, a registered nurse and Public Health Practitioner, with over 10 years experience working for the NHS.
I believe that a woman’s experience of birth is fundamental in her journey to Motherhood, and it is therefore my mission to ensure that all births are reflected upon positively, with women confident that they had the best birth for them and their babies.
The RB Project’s Hypnobirthing course is a simple and logical birth education programme which provides women and their partners with the knowledge, tools and techniques, for an empowering birth experience. It covers the physiology of birth, the impact of fear on the Mother, baby and birthing process and prepares Mother’s and their birthing partners with the tools to remain in a calm and confident state, allowing the mind and body to work together for the best possible birth, whatever the path. The course also considers the medical system and how to confidently navigate this in order to achieve personalised care, right for you and your baby.

There are so many things I love about preparing couples for birth, such as seeing how quickly sceptical partners convert, watching fear turn into anticipation, hearing wonderful birth stories and of course, if I’m lucky, meeting the adorable babies.
Hi, I’m Kate.. I have been practicing as a midwife for 10 years and I’m still in awe of women and the power of nature now, as I was as a student. I work within a birth centre setting, which I am very passionate about, supporting women and their families during the birthing process and postnatal period. I am particularly passionate about hypnobirthing and the difference it can make to women’s birth experiences. I have personally used KG Hypnobirthing when I had my own daughter and had a wonderful experience as a result. From then on, I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with everyone and anyone! I looked forward to hearing from you x

Besides my professional qualifications, I am a wife, an aunty and a mummy to a beautiful golden cocker spaniel. When I am not spending time with my precious family or working, I play netball, drink more coffee then I probably should and I enjoy relaxing with some meditation.
