Hypnobirthing Hertfordshire - Teachers' Directory
I'm Verity, a KGHypnobirthing teacher, Birth & Postnatal Doula working in Essex, Herts and North London. I am also a proud mum of one.
Hypnobirthing allowed me to have a calm, confident and empowered birth through mindfulness and relaxation. Like many newly pregnant women I was fearful of birth and was very anxious through the first half of my pregnancy. After practising Hypnobirthing I was surprised to find that as my due date approached I was completely relaxed and calmly excited at the thought of giving birth.
Giving birth was the most empowering experience of my life. I was left in awe of the process of birth and what our bodies can achieve. When I started to meet other new parents I slowly discovered how important our birthing experiences are to us. I heard many mothers describe the impact their negative experiences had on them and their partners and how this had affected the first precious days, weeks and even months with their baby.
I had taken my positive experience for granted as I realised that my birth wasn’t just one amazing day to look back on with fond memories, it moulded me as a mother.
I decided to become a Hypnobirthing teacher and Doula because I am passionate about helping parents to feel in control of the birth of their baby no matter what direction it may take, to guide them in making informed decisions about their birth preferences, and ultimately give them the best possible start to life with their new baby.
I provide group and 1-2-1 KGHynobirthing classes in Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and surrounding areas. I also offer a Birth Doula with KGHypnobirthing package.
I am a registered midwife and KGHypnobirthing teacher. I have gained a lot of experience of the past 5 years and I am incredibly passionate about reducing intervention, providing informed choice and supporting families to feel comfortable, safe and relaxed throughout their pregnancy and birth.
Besides my professional qualifications, I am a wife, an aunty and a mummy to a beautiful golden cocker spaniel. When I am not spending time with my precious family or working, I play netball, drink more coffee then I probably should and I enjoy relaxing with some meditation.
I am very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable and I can't wait to embark on this journey with you.
I am a qualifiedpracticing Midwife and a Mumma Bear to my amazing little boy. I currently work in a birth centre and am a fully qualified KG Hypnobirthing teacher.
I provided 1 to 1 sessions or group sessions in a choice of locations.
Due to my experience as as a midwife and KGH teacher I am able to bring up to date evidence to empower, prepare and support you in your upcoming birth of your baby.
Email is the best way to get in touch. I would love to hear from you at this exciting time.
For many years I've had a keen interest in women's health and the birthing process and following eight years practicing general therapeutic hypnotherapy, I decided to expand my practice to encompass the wonderful world of hypnobirthing with the completion of my KGH diploma. I’m passionate about helping people to live their lives happily and to achieve their goals, from support with weight management, overcoming phobias to helping create a calm and enjoyable birthing experience. As a mother of four, a trained nurse and having worked for the Stroke Association for almost 20 years, caring for others really has be at the forefront of my everyday life. Hypnobirthing sessions are held on a 1:1 basis with couples/single mums, at my home, yours or as a small group at a local venue to ensure a warm and relaxing environment of your choice. Not only did I learn and practice KG Hypnobirthing for the birth of my son, I also teach parents providing them with the full tool kit for birthing. I love to share my knowledge and experience to help people be more prepared, more informed and help ease my clients' anxiety about birth. I take great pride in teaching my clients and being part of parents' life changing experiences when they welcome their baby into the world.
Hi, I am Karen.
I come from Scotland where I began practicing as a midwife 33 year ago. I am passionate about preparing women for a positive birth experience and supporting them through the post-natal period. For this reason, I teach hypnobirthing and also offer a range of complementary therapies.

Hi there, I'm Carys a KGH registered and insured teacher based in Harpenden and working across Herts, Beds and Aberystwyth in West Wales.
If I told you that during the labour of my son, I was in hospital laughing at episodes of The Office, bouncing on a birth ball listening to Hip Hop music and joking with the midwife between contractions…you probably wouldn’t believe me! We are conditioned to assume that childbirth will involve women screaming in pain, lying on their backs while surrounded by doctors.
I have hypnobirthing to thank for my positive birth experience!
I qualified as a Hypnobirthing teacher in 2018, trained by KGHypnobirthing the original UK Hypnobirthing company.
KG Hypnobirthing teachers are trained and assessed to provide you with the best Hypnobirthing teacher you could find. This ensures that they are all trusted to deliver to a very high standard when working with expectant mothers, training them in hypnobirthing methods.
