Hypnobirthing Kent - Teachers' Directory
In 2011 I qualified as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist which led me to work in a Primary School. I adore my job - it is a privilege to support families and to be a part of a school community.
I have always been an advocate of women's rights and found more and more that I was interested in being part of something which helps support women.
KGHypnobirthing empowers women to make choices which are based on information - rather than assumption - and I am very proud to be part of the KGH family.
Hello! My name is Chloe, I am the founder of The Mindful Birthing Company. I set up this company after I experienced Hypnobirthing first hand when I gave birth to my son Henry in 2019. I am incredibly passionate about Hypnobirthing. I feel that it is a devastating shame that so few mothers get to experience what a wonderfully beautiful, enjoyable and empowering experience it can be. I want to spread the word, as I believe every parent deserves the opportunity to have a positive birth experience, no matter which direction it takes!
The experience of birth can have such a drastic effect on the first minutes, hours, days, weeks and months of a baby’s life and the families time together. So, it is imperative that we work harder to enable expectant parents to feel prepared and confident to make the right choices for them about the birth of their baby, so that they can enjoy this special time.
It is such a wonderful privilege to be part of such a precious moment in people’s lives and such an honour to be able to support a couple to have a more comfortable, informed and positive birth experience.
So… a big thank you, from me, for visiting my website and hopefully supporting a local business and mum-trepreneur!
My name is Lisa Snow and I am a qualified midwife, antenatal teacher and hypnobirthing practitioner. I am also a mother of two grown-up children and a nature-lover.
I teach classes in West Kent, including Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.
I recently qualified as a midwife and feel priviledged to have completed the KG Hypnobirthing training in order to share valuable knowledge and techniques with parents-to-be. In my work, I have seen first-hand how parents who choose to hypnobirth are well-prepared, informed and are able to birth in a calm, tranquil atmosphere, whether at home or in hospital.
I love the outdoors and natural surroundings, so much so that my family refer to me as ‘mother earth'. My calm nature helps make those around me feel at ease, even in times of uncertainty.
I have a genuine passion for supporting women and giving them tools to support their transition to becoming a newly-born mother. My dedication to helping women have an empowering, positive experience of birth and motherhood comes through in all my ZenBirth classes. I look forward to meeting you on the course.
I am a hypnotherapist, cognitive behavioural therapist and life coach. My passion is to make life easier and more fun, reduce anxiety and stress and help women live the life they want. Hypnobirthing fits into this perfectly. Using the KGH method I am able to empower pregnant women to make informed choices with confidence and to help them become as relaxed and contented as they can during their pregnancy and labour through teaching general ante-natal information along with great hypnotherapy techniques.
I’m passionate about supporting women to have an empowering birth experience which will go with them into motherhood. Day to day I’m an occupational therapist and mother to my delightful little girl. I enjoy outdoor walks, music, photography and cooking.
I heard about hypnobirthing early on in my own pregnancy and can honestly say that the Katharine Graves book was my go-to book. I was encouraged from the first few pages that discussed the comfort of ladies in labour, not the pain! I was bouyed by the positive view given and the confidence and self-belief that it promoted. I am a strong advocate for women being listened to and informed at every step of their pregnancy.
My name is Libby, im 19 and from Kent. I am currently studying to be a midwife at Brighton university!
Since a young age I have been fascinated by the miracle of pregnancy and wanted to learn more. KGH has allowed me to see the magic that is brought about during birth, the process of completing a family.
Growing up as a dancer from a young age has enabled me to think calmly and freely about how our body and mind works as one. If you have a relaxed mind then your body will react the same way.
If I could do anything in life I would aim to give each woman I teach a memorable birth in which she feels empowered by her body and what it is capable of!

Why Choose a Hypnobirth?
Hypnobirthing and the use of hypnosis is becoming increasingly recognised as an effective method for giving birth as it helps the mother have a far more rewarding, relaxed and natural birthing experience than she may ever have thought possible. Not only that, but the baby is far more relaxed too as she has not felt any of her mother's stress or anxiety through the birthing.
We have members across the United Kingdom and beyond, with a number based throughout Kent, including practitioners in Ashford, Canterbury, Chatham, Cranbrook, Herne bay, Kings Hill, Medway, Maidstone, Rochester, Sevenoaks, Sittingbourne, Tenterden and Tunbridge Wells. So we hope you will be to find a course reasonably local to where you live. Alternatively, many members can also provide individual classes, if that is your preference.
Our teachers are trained in KG Hypnobirthing and are experienced in teaching expectant mothers how to use these methods as they progress through childbirth. Each has been individually assessed to ensure they meet our high standards of practice, before they receive their accreditation from us.
