The truth is, I found pregnancy tough, the first 5 months was particularly difficult with both of my pregnancies. I don’t know why they call it a ‘morning’ sickness, for me it was 24/7! However, despite of this, due to my hypnobirthing sessions I felt positive and excited about the main event…The BIRTH!
At first, my husband was very apprehensive (and sceptical), but maintaining an open mind we both found it incredibly empowering and beneficial. It’s a very good way to get your Birth Partner involved and make him/her feel part of the whole process.
I have used the Hypnobirthing visualisation, breathing and relaxation tools and techniques to help me stay focused and connected with my body and my baby.
Hypnobirthing built my confidence in trusting my body and its ability to birth my baby in a way that was right for me and my baby.
Hypnobirthing not only gave me the right tools to use throughout my pregnancy and labour, I also found the techniques to be useful for everyday life, especially being a mum to two little terrors (did I say that??). I love them really J
I have never felt so empowered and proud of myself as I did after the birth of both of our babies.
I felt like Wonder Woman and I believe that every woman should be able to experience that regardless of the nature of her labour.
