Hypnobirthing Leicestershire - Teachers' Directory
Hi my name is Katy Cooper and I live near Leicester with my husband and we are the very proud parents of two wonderful children.
I had the pleasure of being trained by the the wondeerful Katharine Graves, and i'm completely passionate about the concept of KGHypnobirthing, in that it incorporates an antenatal educational programme as well as the wonderful Hypnobirthing techniques, and both of those combined together and the course being bespoked to you, makes a huge difference.
I myself am a hypnobirthing mummy and completely understand your interest and curiosity with Hypnobirthing and wanting a natural, drug free and calm birth, but also fighting with the fears and anxieties you may have picked up from friends negative birthing stories, the media, films and dramas. I have been there and felt the same way, but, hand on heart, hypnobirthing can change that perception and help to eliminate those fears and anxieties and help you to actually look forward to your birth and actually enjoy it!
I believe where possible every birth should be surrounded with calmness, trust, love, a relaxed environment, positivity, and happiness and this is where I will be able to support you and give you the knowledge and skills you need to have the best birth possible.
I’m Lois, founder of Precious Bond, a qualified Hypnobirthing teacher, and mother to my very own 'hypnobaby', Ted.
I practised KG Hypnobirthing myself when I was pregnant with my son and I have a really positive birth story to tell thanks to the programme. It inspired me to empower as many women as possible to experience birth in a beautiful way too, so I set up Precious Bond and trained to become a Hypnobirthing teacher on the KG Hypnobirthing teacher training course, accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.
I’m genuinely fascinated by the magic of pregnancy and birth and I’m passionate about giving women a positive experience of bringing their baby into the world. I can’t wait to be part of your journey to motherhood, from beautiful bump to holding your perfect baby in your arms.

I'm Laura Wilkinson, KG Hypnobirthing teacher and mum of three. My interest in Hypnobirthing began when I discovered that a couple of my friends had used the techniques to achieve a far more relaxed birth than I had previously believed possible. The more I learnt about Hypnobirthing, the more fascinated I became. Two of my children were born via planned C-Section but both were very different experiences. I learnt that with planning, preparation and calmness how this could dramatically alter your birth experience. Having heard of these wonderful empowering stories, I decided that I wanted to help women have the best birth possible and trained to be a Hypnobirthing teacher with Katharine Graves. I am now qualified to teach the KG Hypnobirthing course, the only Hypnobirthing course to be accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. The course was so amazing and I found myself asking why isn't everyone doing this?! The Happy Birthing Co. was born to spread the word of how truly incredible birth can be. I want to pass on the message of positivity and empowerment to women to trust their minds and bodies. I can't wait to share this with you and make all your birth dreams come true.

Hi! My name is Leanne, I am a mum of two hypnobirth babies and teacher of 10 years. I first became interested in hypnobirthing when I started to research birth stories when I was expecting my first baby, and found how empowering hypnobirthing could be. I found a course and my husband and I (now a huge convert but was a massive sceptic) left feeling extremely confident about our birth. I found my passion, something I wanted others to feel, and so I trained in KGHypnobirthing in London. I am a HUGE advocate for KGHypnobirthing and want to enable mum's and dad's to have the birth they want, being aware of their choices through delivering a full antenatal programme.
My journey into hypnobirthing began when I became pregnant. I was excited for us to meet our little bundle of joy albeit nervous of what labour would be like. I was determined to feel empowered throughout the pregnancy and labour. Through searching on the internet, I came across hypnobirthing and immediately felt it resonated with my need to prepare my mind and body. I loved the idea of preparing myself in pregnancy, I felt I was empowering myself through my daily practicing of the relaxation scripts and breathing techniques. The birth to our son Satya is something that I am extremely proud off, and I feel that hypnobirthing helped me feel this way as I felt calm and confident in my body and myself to birth our precious baby.
Every teacher of KG Hypnobirthing has undergone rigorous training and asssessment and achieved the level of professionalism and expertise we demand from our teachers.
Our teachers subscribe to our core principles of promoting ethical good practice and related to natural birthing techniques. They also commit themselves to helping raise awareness of and knowledge about hypnobirthing specifically, and natural childbirth more generally, to broaden understanding about it with expectant mothers.
The use of hypnobirthing when giving birth is growing as the medical professions and expectant mothers are coming to appreciate its benefits more and more - not just for the mother but for the baby as well.
