I am based in Mortlake, South West London and I teach both private and group Hypnobirthing courses. I am happy to travel to clients within London who would like to do a private course, whereas group courses take place at my home in Mortlake. I offer mid-week evening courses, or weekend courses both either in-person or on Zoom, so we can definitely make something work that suits you and fits into your schedule. Ultimately, I want women and their birth partners to have the best birth experience possible. It is up to you where and how you choose to bring your baby into this world. My job is to equip you with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions that feel right for you, so that you can look forward to your birth in a positive and excited light. I am a mother and events manager as well a trained KGHypnobirthing teacher. I believe firmly in the power of Hypnobirthing for all women and all types of birth whether it is a planned c-section or a water birth at home. I don’t see hypnobirthing as a ‘hippy dippy’ technique only to be used it you want a ‘natural birth’ it is so much more than that. Hypnobirthing is the antenatal education all women and men deserve and should have. It explains labour, our bodies and hormones and what actually happens during the process of birth. It equips you with the latest statistics and research, allowing you to forget any assumptions and make your own decisions based on facts. It provides the most incredible bonding opportunity for the mother and birth partner, a rare chance to sit down, relax and together connect with your growing baby. And most importantly, it gets you excited and prepared, removing the negativity that constantly surrounds birth so that we can all get excited for the day you bring your baby into the world. All those things I believe are so invaluable to having a positive birth that is your own. I am friendly, compassionate and approachable and if you would like to, I would love to work with you.

WELL THAT JUST WASN’T WHAT WE EXPECTED. ASIDE FROM ACTUALLY LEARNING WHAT AND HOW A SURGE (CONTRACTION!) WORKS, WE LEARNT ABOUT THE HORMONES AT PLAY AND THE ENVIRONMENT NEEDED TO SUPPORT THESE. I CAN’T BELIEVE I WAS 35 WEEKS PREGNANT AND DIDN’T KNOW ANY OF THESE THINGS. THE WHOLE COURSE WAS EYE OPENING FROM BOTH OF US. IT HELPED US WORK AS A TEAM AND CHRIS WAS ABLE TO FEEL LIKE HE WAS AS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE, WHICH MEANT SO MUCH TO US BOTH. WE ALSO LOVED MEETING SOME NEW PARENT FRIENDS ON THE COURSE, IT WAS THE BEST START TO PARENTHOOD.”
