I started my Midwifery journey as a health care assistant, however i fell in love with the role of the midwife and have been lucky enough to have been a midwife for 18 years now. I have had many different roles however regardless of my title, my priorty has been providing both physical and emotional support to every woman and family i meet at any stage of their pregnancy journey. whether a baby is born at home, in a hospital, delivered by caeserean or vaginally, early or late, i have always wanted every woman to have a positive birth experience. I am an excellant communicator which has allowed me to achieve this and support women and their families with their own choices and wishes.
I am really looking forward to working with you all and providing uou with the knowledge and skills that will allow you to have the birth you would like.
I have been a nurse and midwife for over 40 years making the move into education 5 years ago. I am currently a senior lecturer in midwifery at Anglia Ruskin University and still work clinically as a midwife at Peterborough City hospital. I have been passionate about the promotion of normal birth my whole working life and was instrumental in creating the midiwfe led unit at Peterborough with a fellow midwife. Whilst it won't promise you a perfect birth KGH offers strategies that can help empower women and their families to take control of their pregnancy, labour and birth.Within hypnobirthing there are many techniques and strategies that are equally useful for dealing with the stresses and strains of everyday life. Here at Athene we offer flexibility with our 1:1 classes as they can be done here or at your home and at a mutually convienient time. Our group classes offer the chance to meet other parents to be and are held in Tansor. My other great passion is holistic therapies. When not working I have my own buisness which offers a wide variety of treaments from massage to bridal hair and make up.
HELLO, I’M JESS 👋
Mum of two, I’m proud to be a qualified KGH teacher, the only Hypnobirthing course to be accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.
I stumbled across hypnobirthing when searching online for more information about birth and labour, probably just like you’re doing right now!
It’s safe to say with everything in the media, and everything I had learned growing up, birth was going to be painful, most likely traumatic, and I was scared.
Then I found hypnobirthing, and it changed everything! My whole mindset switched from being completely terrified about birth, to actually looking forward to it! No, I wouldn’t have believed it either, but here I am, so passionate about hypnobirthing that I’ve trained to teach it. Becoming a parent is such a pivotal moment in our lives. We will always remember our midwives and birth experiences, so I feel really strongly that we should do all we can make it the best experience possible.
It’s really normal and sensible to be sceptical of things we don’t know about or understand, and honestly, the name ‘hypnobirthing’ almost put me off. It sounds a little bit hippyish, but I promise there’s no weird chanting in circles, no strange zen-like hypnotic states which make you feel out of control - it’s the exact opposite.
Hypnobirthing can be used in every kind of birth, and it will make you feel empowered, calm and confident, and help you have a positive birth experience.
I hope to see you in class soon!

Hello, I'm Amy Tibble a KG Hypnobirthing teacher and Mum to Evelyn who was born with the support and practice of KG hypnobirthing in 2019. As a diabetic, I had to navigate many medical appointments through my pregnancy. By practicing hypnobirthing it empowered me to remain focused and in control throughout my pregnancy. This was what inspired me to become a teacher and to help other parents to have the best birth possible so I trained to be a KG hypnobirthing teacher which is the only hypnobirthing course to be accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.
I am one half of Precious Bond Hypnobirthing and we are passionate about giving women a positive experience when they bring their babies into the world. I can't wait to be part of your journey to motherhood, from beautiful bump to holding your perfect baby in your arms.
I firmly beleive that yoga and hypnobirthing were made for each other; both work best when part of a regular practice and are a fantastic way of preparing you for what can be one of the most empowering experiences of your life. By combining the two, the breath and movements will become second nature to you and support you in not just your pregnancy, labour and birth, but beyond into motherhood.
Hi, my name is Amber. I decided to become a KGHypnobirthing teacher after giving birth to my first daughter Marley-Rose, at home in a birth pool. It was such an empowering experience and I loved every moment. I immediately knew it was something I’d love to experience again and I also knew that every expectant mother deserves to feel empowered and in control of their birth. Previously I have worked in retail and client facing roles and have always known that I love talking to and helping others. KGHypnobirthing feels like it was something I was destined to do. I look forward to meeting you and your birth partners and sharing your pregnancy journey with you.
