On my work as a doula, having accompanied women and couples in very varied settings and reflecting back on some of these experiences, I learnt how hypnobirthing can make a difference and decided to train as a hypnobirthing teacher.
Currently I co-facilitate the Reading Positive Birth group as I am a firm believer on the importance of bringing positivity around childbirth.
Please get in touch if you are interested in hypnobirthing and antenatal preparation :)
Hi I am Beth, a mother of 2 boys and a midwife with over 10 years experience.
I am passionate about supporting parents to have a positive birth experience and cofacilitate the Positive Birth Movement Wantage Group. I have seen countless positive hypnobirths, whether the birth be a home waterbirth or a caesarean section. I have seen it work so well and I love sharing hypnobirthing with couples and look forward to leading you on your hypnobirthing journey.
I am also a passionate breastfeeding supporter and can support you in your breastfeeding journey too.
As a mother of 2 young children, I have had first-hand experience of how overwhelming it can be to start a family and then grow that family. I am passionate about helping families to achieve the best start by empowering their journey with knowledge & confidence. Parenthood begins well before our babies are actually born. Pregnancy offers a time to actively prepare for the birth of your baby and for your new life as parents! My courses can play a really powerful part in helping you achieve a positive birth experience as well as providing ongoing support once your baby arrives. As well as my hypnobirthing practice I am also a qualified sling consultant and in my spare time, I co-facilitate our local attachment parenting group which is very active and also the local Positive Birth Movement Group. So if you are looking for a holistic approach to pregnancy, birth and parenting look no further.
I am a three time Hypnobirthing mummy, and Clinical Hypnotherapist based just outside the city of Oxford, but I go whereever my works takes me. I currently offer group courses in Oxford but regularly run private 1:1s in Witney, Thame, Banbury, Brackley, Brecon, Bicester, Wantage, Faringdon, High Wycombe and more. All postcodes are considered so do ask!
I have experience and training in several types of Hypnobirthing and have 3 very happy hypnobabies! As well as delivering the highly regarded KG Hypnobirthing course, I offer hypnotherapy for fertility, morning sickness, antenatal & postnatal services and have great success turning Breech babies with Hypnotherapy.
Before hypnotherapy, my years of scientific learning (biology & psychology) lead me to a long and rewarding career in the emergency services. I was able to support people who were often going through the most stressful & challenging times in their lives and am delighted to continue supporting people as a Hypnotherapist. Hypnobirthing is one of my greatest pleasures as a therapist. Having a baby is without doubt a pivotal time in your life, and Hypnobirthing brings invaluable calm and confidence to it. Your memories of your babies birth will last you a lifetime, so why not make them positive?

The hypnobirthing techniques will leave you feeling calm, relaxed and empowered for the birth whilst the knowledge gained will provide you with the confidence to make informed choices about your baby’s birth.
I am confident in a woman’s ability to birth her baby, that her body is naturally designed and capable of doing so. I am passionate about supporting couples to have a birth that is gentle, confident and without fear. I provide high quality sessions and ongoing one to one support.
