Hypnobirthing Oxfordshire - Teachers' Directory
Hi, my name is Natalie. I qualified as a midwife in 2010 via Oxford Brooke's University. Prior to this I was an Adult nurse. I'm now a practising community midwife which I have been doing since 2012.
I am passionate about providing exceptional care for mummies, their babies and families through the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
I am a three time Hypnobirthing mummy, and Clinical Hypnotherapist with a peaceful therapeutic practice just outside Oxford city, but I go wherever my works takes me. I run popular group courses in Oxford, Thame and Witney but also offer private classes across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
I have experience and training in several types of Hypnobirthing and have 3 very positive births and 3 happy hypnobabies! As well as delivering the highly regarded KGHypnobirthing course, I offer hypnotherapy for fertility, morning sickness, antenatal & postnatal services and have great success turning Breech babies with Hypnotherapy. I am also trained in Rewind Technique (closure without disclosure) which is beneficial for clients with previous traumatic experiences.
Before hypnotherapy, my years of scientific learning (biology & psychology) led me to a long and rewarding career in the emergency services. I was able to support people who were often going through the most stressful & challenging times in their lives and am delighted to continue supporting people as a Hypnotherapist. Hypnobirthing is one of my greatest pleasures as a therapist. Having a baby is a pivotal time in your life, and Hypnobirthing brings invaluable calm and confidence to it. Your memories of your babies birth will last you a lifetime, so let’s make them positive!
My name is Cathryn and I am a Clinical Psychologist by day and a passionate hypnobirthing mum all the time! Hypnobirthing supported both me and my partner to have a calm and relatively short labour, despite being a first time mum and needing to be induced. We look back with great fondness on this time, which brought us closer together. I am now keen to spread the hypnobirthing joy to everyone I can!
Please contact me for further information or if you just want to discuss if hypnobirthing is right for you.
Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Rachel and I am an experienced midwife and KGH Teacher.
I run Blissful Birthing (based in Bicester, Oxfordshire) and offer group sessions and one-to-one support. I have experience of supporting women birthing at home, in midwife-led units and obstetric units and have seen the benefits of hypnobirthing to women in all of these settings.
I am passionate about antenatal education and would love to hear from you!

Whilst pregnant with my first child I was drawn to hypnobirthing because, as a midwife, I needed to quiet my mind, leave my inner midwife outside the door and just be able to concentrate on having a baby. This has worked well for my family for both of my birthing experiences and I am so excited to be offering this to other families.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! My journey to becoming a hypnobirthing teacher began in 2012 when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was completely in awe of the changes happening to my body and I devoured every bit of information I could about pregnancy, labour and birth - from then on I was hooked. Now, as a mother of two I am passionate about helping women and couples to achieve the birth they deserve and to spread the word about how empowering, positive and joyful birth can really be. I offer group and private courses in Woodstock, Oxfordshire and in Southern Spain. Please do get in touch with me via the email above or find me on social media @aboutmybirth if you’d like to know more.
First of all - Congratulations on your pregnancy!!
Second of all - it's fantastic that you are looking into a hypnobirthing course. Your upcoming birth is the most important event of your future, and it's well worth preparing for. I wish I had known about hypnobirthing during my pregnancies. My career as a midwife has enabled me to witness the benefits of hypnobirthing firsthand. So much so, that I trained to become a teacher, to enable more women and their families to experience a positive labour and birth.
When a baby is born, so is a mother, and an empowering birth is a perfect start to parenthood.
Hello,
I am Amy, a mum to one and a KGHypnobirthing teacher. I started my KGHypnobirthing journey when I was pregnant with my son and I haven't looked back since. I am on a misson to redefine the image of birth, empower women and provide them with the tools and techniques in order to help them have birth that they feel in control of.
I have been involved in the birthworld for over 17 years, as a doula, antenatal teacher, hynobirthing teacher, baby massage instructor and placenta encapsulator. I love being around pregnant women and new mums and babies, and enjoy helping them to feel confident and empowered in their choices around birth and mothering.
I am a mum of 3 myself, and I love pottering about the garden with my chickens, and going out jive dancing!
