Hypnobirthing Oxfordshire - Teachers' Directory
Hi, my name is Natalie. I qualified as a midwife in 2010 via Oxford Brooke's University. Prior to this I was an Adult nurse. I'm now a practising community midwife which I have been doing since 2012.
I am passionate about providing exceptional care for mummies, their babies and families through the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
I am a three time Hypnobirthing mummy, and Clinical Hypnotherapist with a peaceful therapeutic practice just outside Oxford city, but I go wherever my works takes me. I run popular group courses in Oxford, Thame and Witney but also offer private classes across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
I have experience and training in several types of Hypnobirthing and have 3 very positive births and 3 happy hypnobabies! As well as delivering the highly regarded KGHypnobirthing course, I offer hypnotherapy for fertility, morning sickness, antenatal & postnatal services and have great success turning Breech babies with Hypnotherapy. I am also trained in Rewind Technique (closure without disclosure) which is beneficial for clients with previous traumatic experiences.
Before hypnotherapy, my years of scientific learning (biology & psychology) led me to a long and rewarding career in the emergency services. I was able to support people who were often going through the most stressful & challenging times in their lives and am delighted to continue supporting people as a Hypnotherapist. Hypnobirthing is one of my greatest pleasures as a therapist. Having a baby is a pivotal time in your life, and Hypnobirthing brings invaluable calm and confidence to it. Your memories of your babies birth will last you a lifetime, so let’s make them positive!
My name is Cathryn and I am a Clinical Psychologist by day and a passionate hypnobirthing mum all the time! Hypnobirthing supported both me and my partner to have a calm and relatively short labour, despite being a first time mum and needing to be induced. We look back with great fondness on this time, which brought us closer together. I am now keen to spread the hypnobirthing joy to everyone I can!
Please contact me for further information or if you just want to discuss if hypnobirthing is right for you.
I am a qualified KGHypnobirthing teacher. The course that I have completed is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. I am a mum of two young children and I first discovered hypnobirthing whilst pregnant in 2012. I am very passionate about helping women discover and understand how simple and effective KGHypnobirthing is. It will make a difference to your birthing experience and I look forward to using my calming influence and knowledge to give you all the tools you need for the beautiful birth of your baby.
Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Rachel and I am an experienced midwife and KGH Teacher.
I run Blissful Birthing (based in Bicester, Oxfordshire) and offer group sessions and one-to-one support. I have experience of supporting women birthing at home, in midwife-led units and obstetric units and have seen the benefits of hypnobirthing to women in all of these settings.
I am passionate about antenatal education and would love to hear from you!
Whilst pregnant with my first child I was drawn to hypnobirthing because, as a midwife, I needed to quiet my mind, leave my inner midwife outside the door and just be able to concentrate on having a baby. This has worked well for my family for both of my birthing experiences and I am so excited to be offering this to other families.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! My journey to becoming a hypnobirthing teacher began in 2012 when I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was completely in awe of the changes happening to my body and I devoured every bit of information I could about pregnancy, labour and birth - from then on I was hooked. Now, as a mother of two I am passionate about helping women and couples to achieve the birth they deserve and to spread the word about how empowering, positive and joyful birth can really be. I offer group and private courses in Woodstock, Oxfordshire and in Southern Spain. Please do get in touch with me via the email above or find me on social media @aboutmybirth if you’d like to know more.
First of all - Congratulations on your pregnancy!!
Second of all - it's fantastic that you are looking into a hypnobirthing course. Your upcoming birth is the most important event of your future, and it's well worth preparing for. I wish I had known about hypnobirthing during my pregnancies. My career as a midwife has enabled me to witness the benefits of hypnobirthing firsthand. So much so, that I trained to become a teacher, to enable more women and their families to experience a positive labour and birth.
When a baby is born, so is a mother, and an empowering birth is a perfect start to parenthood.
I am Amy, a mum to one and a KGHypnobirthing teacher. I started my KGHypnobirthing journey when I was pregnant with my son and I haven't looked back since. I am on a misson to redefine the image of birth, empower women and provide them with the tools and techniques in order to help them have birth that they feel in control of.
I have been involved in the birthworld for over 17 years, as a doula, antenatal teacher, hynobirthing teacher, baby massage instructor and placenta encapsulator. I love being around pregnant women and new mums and babies, and enjoy helping them to feel confident and empowered in their choices around birth and mothering.
I am a mum of 3 myself, and I love pottering about the garden with my chickens, and going out jive dancing!
Hi I'm Charlie, mum to two little boys. I am a KGH Hypnobirthing Teacher currently based in Emerson's Green, Bristol and I am passionate about passing on my knowledge in Hypnobirthing to help future mothers experience the positive birth they desire. I am a military wife so on the move every few years. Currently running group and private courses on Zoom.
I’m Rala and I am a mother to two girls and used hypnobirthing for both their births. At first my husband and I were skeptical as most people are when they first approach hypnobirthing, but were very quickly convinced of the potential power it holds.
I love meeting people and have always had a caring disposition. Over the past 3 years I chose to study subjects whereby I can learn to understand people on a very caring and personable level. I have studied and researched, achieving a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and a Diploma in Psychodynanmic Counselling Level 4 but throughout Year 2 my heart strings were pulled back to Year 1 - to a yearning to learn more about how we can mindfully embrace delivery and discover a closer connection to unborn babies through hypnobirthing.
In Year 3 I took a detour - I followed my instinct and my heart and completed the KGH Training, which is accredited to the Royal College of Midwives - this was important to me (and resonated as my mum had worked in SCBU) and I qualified as a KGH Practitioner in June 2022. Since then I have been listening and poured my heart and soul into creating something so special that will inspire and prepare you and your birth partner, to lead you to the most empowering BIRTH-day that you all will experience.
I am a mum to one daughter who I have raised by myself and have loved every chapter - even the most challenging ones! I wish I knew about hypnobirthing when I had my daughter - this is a superb opportunity for you and I will be delighted to join your journey and to signpost you along the way.
