Join us on Saturday 6th July 2024 for the Meet and Learn Day in Solihull. Meet like-minded people, share ideas and learn practical developments in the birth world!

This event is for all like-minded and interested people. If you are a healthcare professional, a hypnobirthing teacher – whether you studied with KGH or another provider – or simply interested in pregnancy or birth, this event is for you! You’ll expand your existing knowledge with new ideas and information. And if you are a midwife, this will count towards your revalidation.

The day will be hosted by Katharine Graves – founder of KGHypnobirthing, Maureen Collins – Midwife, and Nancy Keen – KGH lead trainer and founder of The Birthright Academy. This is an interactive day so you are encouraged to participate as much or as little as you wish!

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY (subject to additions):

The day will run from 10am until 4pm at the lovely Olton Friary in Solihull. Arrive for tea and coffee from 9.30am, event will start promptly at 10am. The topics of discussion will include:

• How to counteract the stress heaped on women in late pregnancy & labour
• The pandemic of induction of labour and how to help parents manage it
• Nutrition in pre-conception, pregnancy and beyond from a specialist nutritionist
• The mind-body connection and the importance of creating an environment that supports the physiological pathway
• Having problems finding clients? Support and advice from Nancy Keen, Birthright Academy Founder
• Rebozo demonstration & practise
• Medicalised birth v Physiological birth
• Human rights in childbirth with Maureen
• Preventing birth trauma
• Exciting new developments in KGHypnobirthing including new material, evidence based factsheets and new relaxations

We will have a shared lunch and tea and coffees will be provided. The day will end at 4pm.
