My name is Lisa, I have been a midwife for 18years, I have worked in hospital settings, a midwifery led unit and community, I have attended home births and delivered parentcraft classes. Following covid, I find that many hospitals continue to deliver antenatal education via zoom or pre-recorded videos which is not a brilliant way to learn. I decided to offer Hypnobirthing as I find many women are entering labour unprepared for birth and are traumatised by their experiences, I have also observed women who have hypnbobirthed and it is amazing to watch them, so calm and in control, trusting their bodies to do what it was made to do, they are fearless!
