These relaxations can be used when something specific gives you a wobble – maybe you’ve heard a negative birth story, you have had a stressful appointment, or you just feel like you need an extra boost of confidence.
Regardless of the above, I would suggest you do use them daily towards the end of your pregnancy (from about week 40) and if you feel in anyway pressured or coerced into agreeing to an intervention that you had planned to decline.
I would also suggest that you use the Confident and Positive relaxation when you go into labour to establish a calm and positive mindset.
