Our trainer and KGHypnobirthing teacher, Nancy Keen from Birth Right Hypnobirthing, has a go-to biscuit recipe which she can whip up quickly and is always popular with parents attending her course. Nancy says making these biscuits is quicker than going to the shops to buy some! Here is Nancy’s recipe. Enjoy!
Birth Right Biscuit Recipe
100g margerine / butter
100g soft brown sugar
1tbsp honey / golden syrup
150g self-raising flour
1 bag of chocolate chips
Add all the ingredients together and mix until it is a dough-like consistency.
Roll into little balls and place on a baking tray that has baking parchment on it.
Bake for 10 minutes at 160°C.
They should look slightly cracked but not brown. They solidify as they cool.
Take them out and keep them on the tray for a few minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack.
